This Place Is a Complete Horror Show – DO NOT STAY HERE!
I booked a room at Days Inn by Wyndham Greenville (60 Roper Mountain Rd) thinking it would be a simple budget hotel, but I walked into something closer to a real-life nightmare. It’s hard to believe this place is still open.
From the start, I felt uncomfortable. The front desk staff were extremely unprofessional and creepy. One of the men at reception made inappropriate comments and behaved in a way that felt more like harassment than hospitality. He kept smirking, giving off weird sexual vibes, and making disturbing jokes that crossed all boundaries. It got to the point where I didn’t feel safe even standing there to check in. It was honestly terrifying – not funny or awkward, but predatory and threatening.
When I finally got to the room, it was worse than expected. The smell hit me immediately – a mix of mold, smoke, and something rotten. There were dead insects on the floor, roaches crawling near the bed, and even worse – signs of bed bugs. I’m still itching just thinking about it. The bedding looked used, stained, and unhygienic, and the towels had a foul smell, like they were never properly washed.
The cleaning staff acted like they had no training or professionalism. They didn’t knock, just entered my room while I was inside. They looked shady and aggressive, definitely not the kind of people you want around your belongings. I didn’t feel comfortable leaving anything in the room – or being there myself.
Outside the room, the hallways were dark and felt unsafe. The atmosphere was chaotic, with people coming and going at all hours. I wouldn’t be surprised if illegal activity was happening right in front of management and being ignored. I saw a woman yelling through a door late at night, and nobody did anything about it.
The parking lot is just as dangerous… and there’s zero security presence. I was seriously afraid to leave my car there overnight.
Honestly, staying here felt like playing with your health. Between the dirt, the bugs, the unsafe water, and the potential for infections, I wouldn’t be surprised if someone left this place sick and needing real treatment. This is not just dirty – it’s a potential health and safety disaster.
Please, stay far away. This hotel is not just uncomfortable – it’s unsafe, unhygienic, and...
Read moreIt’s a cheaper place to stay. Stuff will be broke in your room. My microwave never worked.WiFi is terrible. Room service will knock on your door sometimes at 9am, 9:30, 10, or 10:30 to ask if you are staying over. Depends on who is working that day. Sometimes more than one person will knock in the morning at different times even though check out is at 11, or that you’ve already told the front desk that you are staying over. It’s like there is zero communication throughout the morning. If you do happen to be checking out that day, your room key will stop at 10am. not at 11 which is the checkout time, which forces you to go to the front desk and ask that they fix the key. Every single time they act like it’s odd that it stopped working at 10. If you need a late check out, they will say it’s fine and no problem. Then later in the day after you leave, they will run your card and you will be charged for the price of the room again. The place is full of prostitutes, and crackheads. Any time of day you can find people smoking weed outside in the parking lot or on the steps or smoking cigarettes who spit all over the steps and leave trash. Walk anywhere on the 3rd floor and you will smell weed and cigarettes from people smoking in their rooms. In your room you can smell the smoke from other people smoking in their rooms. They let homeless addicts sleep in their cars in the parking lot. Soda machines are empty. Laundry is out of order and been that way for weeks. And the 2 ice machines that they have are broke. One worked for a few days, but it is in the laundry room so the ice tastes like detergent. Other one has never worked, but still leaks water on the floor. Sometimes there is mold on the food. Sometimes the orange juice is sour. I’ve heard other people complaining about rooms being infested with roaches. I’ve never had roaches in my room but they are in the hallway by the trash. All of the staff is very friendly and smiling. So...

I stayed at Days Inn by Wyndham Greenville (60 Roper Mountain Rd), and it was truly one of the most disgusting and disturbing places I have ever been. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.
First off, the room was filthy. The carpets were stained, the bathroom was full of mold, and the bed sheets looked used and dirty. But that was just the beginning. The room was infested with cockroaches and bed bugs. Yes – actual bed bugs crawling on the mattress and walls. I got bitten multiple times and felt absolutely horrified.
The cleaning staff was extremely unprofessional and unsettling. They didn’t knock – they would just enter the room without permission. Some of them looked like dangerous homeless people, not trained staff. I felt unsafe the entire time. Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if they stole something – they gave off that kind of vibe. You cannot trust anyone here.
Even worse, I witnessed what looked like prostitution activity happening in the hotel, and it was very obvious and disturbing. This place is not safe, especially for women or families. And to top it all off, I saw a housekeeper smoking inside a room while “cleaning” – on the third floor! Smoking inside is supposed to be prohibited, but clearly, no one follows or enforces any rules.
As if that wasn’t enough, the parking lot is extremely unsafe. I saw several cars with their windows smashed, clearly broken into overnight. It’s terrifying to think you might wake up to find your car damaged or robbed. I was scared to leave my vehicle there.
This place is not a hotel – it’s a health hazard, a safety risk, and a total nightmare. Honestly, it feels more like a halfway house or a prison than a hotel. Everything about it is disturbing – the dirt, the bugs, the people, the danger.
Stay far, far away. Spend your money elsewhere and protect your health,...
