RACIALLY PROFILED!! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! It was a Sunday afternoon. I normally don't go to this store because the selection is pathetic and out dated but I was in town so I wanted to go check out the extra 20 weekend sale since I didn't see anything I wanted online. As I was shopping a very masculine, tall butchy woman wearing glasses with a curly 80s style jheri curl looking hairstyle began following me around the store. I assumed she was from loss prevention, little would this lady know I own my own business and a retain store of my own in Atlanta, GA and I am very familiar with loss prevention tactics. Everywhere I went she went, when I got to the intimates section and was putting a item back that got tangled on the rack she came to that exact area and checked it as if I had planted something there. She then pretended to check out items and JUMPED behind me as I got into the checkout line where she pretended to purchase items and once I completed my purchase. She whispered to the cashiers good luck guys!! I "HAVE" BEEN SHOPPING AT NORDSTROM FOR OVER 15 YEARS BUT NEVER AGAIN. DO NOT SHOP HERE! The selection is outdated and not even worth the time. I will be reporting this to a friend in corporate here in Atlanta as well. I have never had a more humiliating shopping experience in my life. I left the store feeling a million different emotions. (FYI) This review DID NOT deserve one star but...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBeen a Nordstrom customer since 2006. Purchased Cole Haan dress shoes that started separating after two months. Manager won't take them back as they've been worn. Problem is that Nordstrom Rack may be peddling products that are known to have high defective rates (ie. - my Cole Haan shoes) without selling "as is". Pretty good deal for them and the manufacturer as they can fire sell the products without any liability on the backend (due to "only unworn merchandise" return policy). As the consumer, you lose. You are on your own if your purchase is defective. Nordstrom Rack has lost my business.
Update 7/16/17: after tweeting about this in frustration I was contacted by the Nordstrom team on twitter. They contacted the store manager and she was willing to make an exception on the return for my defective shoes. They took back the defective shoes for a full refund. I'll continue to shop at Nordstrom Rack but will most likely purchase shoes from the full line Nordstrom store from now on due to this policy on defective products. Nordstrom's full line half yearly sale ends up being about the same price as Nordstrom...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTerrible supervisor/manager on duty. I picked up a shirt for my partner. It was on sale but had NO āfinal saleā sticker on it. Took it to the counter to pay and make sure it was exchangeable. They only told me it was final sale after they scanned it. I found the SAME shirt on Nordstrom Rackās site and nowhere did it say it was final sale. I showed them this, cashier got a manager, and the manager was all around snappy, blunt, and rude about the situation (feel bad for the people that have to work for her). Gave me no explanation as to why it was NOT final sale online but WAS final sale in store. Manager told me thereās nothing she could do to help me despite being confused by the situation herself. No sorry. No anything - just a bad attitude and pure dismissal. Iāve shopped with Nordstrom for years and it saddens me how horrible the customer service is at this store. I was hoping theyād honor the...
