Waffle House — Restaurant in South Carolina

I was attacked by a Waffle House waitress at this location. I wasn’t even seated for more than 30 seconds.

As soon as I sat down in the booth the waitress threw a glass sugar dispenser and hit me right in the face (In my right cheekbone).

I called my phone up the street at the steak n shake and the grill cook had my phone and he answered it.

The grill cook stole my phone while the waitress was assaulting me and the manager allowed him to take my phone home after the incident. The grill cook smashed it and took the SIM card out.

I was attacked and had my property damaged for no reason. I had to pick my phone up from the sheriffs station.

Waffle House allows their employees to attack customers and to damage their property.

The area Manager is now saying that the GRILL COOK STOLE MY PHONE AND ALLOWED HIS MOTHER TO DAMAGE MY PROPERTY. I will be suing Waffle House in civil court for damages.

The Waffle House store manager told my mother that he saw my phone right after the incident and it was in good condition, but the cook took it home and smashed it. He told the police something totally different.

Now he is saying that the cooks mother brought in my phone and smashed it.

Either way it goes the grill cook stole my phone, and it resulted in my phone being ruined.

I would like to know what Waffle House plans on doing about this issue, because it seems like they are trying to cover up what they did to me and my property.

If my phone was smashed in Waffle House by his mother like they say it is - it should all be on footage, just like it’s on footage of his waitress throwing a sugar dispenser at me while I was in a seated position.

Wow!! What a difference between this Waffle House and the other one I just did a review on about the sad lazy service there! At this Waffle House I was greeted very kindly and friendly. My waitress was so sweet and kind and she did an excellent job serving me my breakfast!! The cook here is awesome too!! This was the best food I’ve had at any of the Waffle House franchisees! Cooked to perfection!! Everyone was so warm and friendly and helpful! Then when I told them what had just happened right down the road, I was surprised to hear them say that my experience at the first one was a problem that they all knew about!! That’s bad! That means it’s been going on for some time now and nothing has been done about it yet! Well, I hope my reviews between two very different experiences will motivate the owner of the first place to do something about it!! But I just wanted to thank everyone here tonight that were so kind to me and very professional as well!! You are the example that all Waffle House franchisees...

This review is a negetive one star review. I do not like posting when its not positive, its not the first time. I used to try to come here and service was slow and poor with a smattering of a few good employees. So I came by this morning and now its worse. I tried a table at first, but it was to cold, so before I was talked to or waited on went to place my order at counter to go. The waitress was like you sitting or what? I explained, Ill take it to go and she was visibly put off and a bit rude. I then had another interaction with her, and she told me to sit down and again miffed when I told her I prefer to stand. She didnt suggest other patrons to sit while waiting on to go. Long story short. I get to work with my breakfast, now its worse. I didnt order this breakfast, I thought I was getting a chicken melt bowl. I got a texas toast breakfast sandwich with hashbrowns with onions in it. Yuck!!
