Third Street Inn — Hotel in McCall

Great place, well updated with Modern finishings. Very comfortable beds, luxurious feel, right of the edge of downtown 1/4 of a mi from the water, but between all amenities so the convenience is the best. A solid 4 out of 5 stars for sure with only two constructive suggestions....

Need an Elevator for those that are not capable of using stairs or have so much luggage that it becomes a burden when checking in. (Catch 22 though with any more changes and the possible increase of such a fair economical room value. I really appreciated that)

Check the water pressure to make sure that you are getting the best optimal pressure, our room was pretty weak but it got the job done when bathing. Plus the bathrooms were outstanding. I appreciated that..... (It might have been just our room though being that we have only stayed there once)

Room was decent, but service was terrible. We arrived late at night and there were only 6 cars in the parking lot. I got inside and there were two girls working the front desk who quite honestly looked like they hated working there (neither could so much as return the smile I greeted them with). Once they finished their conversation and got around to checking me in, I asked if I was the last one to arrive. The woman told me yes I was the last to check in. 6 cars in the parking lot, minus the 2 for the employees means that there were only 4 guests staying that night. I estimated that there were at least 50 rooms in this hotel, so if there were only 4 guests staying there... why was it that I had somebody on both sides of my room? I could clearly hear the shower running from one side and people talking from the other.

I have worked at the front desk of a hotel for over a year, so I very clearly understand exactly how little effort it takes to put people in rooms farther apart. I was by no means expecting a five-star resort, but I would expect better service than this even...

My family and I stayed there for a night this hotel with 3 queen bedroom. As soon as we arrive we found that the bedding was not clean. There were blood stains and debris all over the e bed. We asked the receptionist to come to our room to see and he said sorry to change the room, but the other room’s condition was similar. We could not leave since we have a tight schedule like hot spring and skiing and time was so value to us.In stead, the receptionist changed all the bedding. The reason i write this because all the future guests need to know the condition of this hotel. They advertised that this hotel is exceptional clean ( They remove it today after I talked to the general manager). This hotel is nonsense that all stairs are dirty and imagine that the follor and bathroom. They did not change the bedding and you have to be careful to know the fact.
