Fast, cheap and delicious! My husband suggested we grab a couple sammies before heading out for a day of snowshoeing. I can’t think of a better lunch. Stax, as always, does it it again!

My husband bellied up with the Hog (hickory smoked ham with premium Swiss cheese and mayo, topped with romaine lettuce and tomato, $6.59 for regular), and I the Holiday (oven roasted turkey with Stax signature cranberry cream cheese spread topped with romaine lettuce, tomato and sprouts, $6.59 for regular). The sandwiches were phenomenal, although I could have done with the sprouts on the Holiday. The ingredients were super fresh, you could tell the bread was baked that morning. The Hog was pretty much your basic ham and cheese sandwich but made with the highest quality ingredients. I’m intrigued by seasonal and off-the-wall menu items, not to mention I LOVE cream cheese. Aside from the sprouts the sandwich was absolutely fantastic on every level. The cranberry cream cheese and turkey blended like a firework in my mouth. Followed by bites of crispy Ruffles, I can’t tell you how satisfied I was with my lunch. It was too good for words.

Other highlights include the freaky fast service. Forget Jimmy John’s, this is the lightning fast service I’m talking about! We were third in line to order, but remained in the building less than 10 minutes before we were out the door. Outstanding service and fabulous sandwiches. Highly...

On a road trip we came through McCall for lunch. The place we thought we wanted to eat at was closing early and recommended Stax. We are SO grateful for the recommendation! We arrived as they were closing for the day and we were met with a smile and “how can we help you” customer service. Jason took the time to tell us all about Stax. He showed us the homemade bread and sourdough rolls. Told us about the top sellers and homemade sauces. We ordered the mushroom Swiss, Italian and I went with the lettuce wrap.

I have not had a lettuce wrap this good! If you eat lettuce for bread, I bet you have had some messes and head directly to the fork. Jason brought out our sandwiches and there was no fork…. I decided to go for it and picked up the wrap…… this was the best lettuce EVER! It didn’t sag, sog or rip!!! This was my first positive lettuce wrap experience!!! Jason hand picked the lettuce and a find job he did.

Even though they closed, Jason came out to see if we’d like to fill our cups and use the bathroom before we got on the road. Before we left we had become friends.

We highly recommend Stax! They care about the quality of food and human connection. That’s such a win!!

And the prices were great for the quality of food. $10 for an amazing...

Some of the most delicious sandwiches you'll ever have! They bake the bread fresh every morning and use only the best selection of meats and vegetables to craft their masterpieces. The only thing that might top the sandwiches is their customer service. The staff is well trained, very courteous, and can somehow manage to keep thing rolling quickly even when half the town is there having lunch. You will likely never look at a sandwich the same after eating one of these pieces of heaven on a plate. Stax has been a lunchtime staple for me for several years since they opened their doors and I would highly...

I felt so welcome and catered to here! Once they found out I've never been here they were so patient and explained the menu and provided recommendations. All the bread is baked in store (meat sliced as well) and I can say IT SHOWS. I got the Italian - which was perfectly fantastic and a huge sandwich. I totally downed the first half before I even thought about a picture - better late than never. This place is a huge recommendations from me - all around EXACTLY what I wanted for lunch on my Mountain drive!!!
