Exceptional Stay Thanks to Julia - A True Gem at the Front Desk!

My recent stay at Hotel McCall was nothing short of exceptional, and it was all thanks to the incredible service provided by the front desk person, Julia. From the moment I stepped foot in the hotel until my departure, Julia's dedication and quirky kindness made my experience truly memorable.

Upon check-in, Julia greeted me with the most genuine smile, making me feel instantly welcome. Her professionalism and efficiency ensured a swift check-in process, which was a great relief after a long journey. Not only did she handle the formalities with ease, but she also took the time to inquire about my preferences, making sure that my stay would be tailored to my needs. She offered local insight about places to eat and explore, which was incredibly helpful in making my trip the best it could have been.

One evening, I experienced a minor issue with my television, and I must say that Julia's response was truly remarkable. Despite it being late at night, she promptly attended to the situation, going above and beyond to resolve the problem swiftly. Her willingness to take the extra step for a guest exemplifies her dedication to ensuring a seamless and comfortable stay for everyone.

I am often in McCall for both business and pleasure. Because of this experience, I will choose Hotel McCall everytime.

If you're looking for a hotel experience that goes above and beyond, look no further than Hotel McCall, where Julia will undoubtedly make your stay unforgettable.

Thank you, Julia, for making my time...

I wish I could give the hotel more stars, but for the money we paid, it was sorely disappointing. It was our honeymoon, and I arrived on crutches due to an injury. There was some sympathy, but no real help, so my new wife hauled all of our luggage upstairs without help, while I hobbled up carrying what I could.

We were staying Monday through Thursday, and hoping for room service, especially with my injury. The attached restaurant is closed Tuesday and Wednesday, so no room service. This would not be so bad if the website had said something, or someone told us when we booked, but that did not happen. The hotel did not offer to go get us anything, even though we would have been happy to pay a delivery charge.

We went to use the pool, and the heater had gone down in a power surge. No heated pool, and again, excuses and an apology, but nothing concrete offered to resolve the situation. We really felt slighted.

My wife went across the street to get us coffee, and the girls who worked there were very friendly. They offered their cell phone numbers and to bring us food if we needed it. Much better than the hotel, but suddenly the next day, our last, the hotel staff was more friendly and attentive.

The room was okay, but smaller than I imagined. It was reasonably clean, the only reason this is a two star instead of a one star review.

Since it was off season, and we were one of a few guests, it just seems like the staff could have been more accommodating, especially at the price point we paid. Probably would not stay again. Do...

I had the most memorable stay at Hotel McCall—truly the best I can recall. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was unusually warm and welcoming. The staff (Cindy & Dana), always smiling and interested, went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. Their genuine care and attentiveness reminded me of the kind of hospitality you’d expect at a cozy bed and breakfast, where you feel more like a guest in someone’s home than a hotel visitor.||Each morning began with delicious coffee and homemade cake slices, and throughout the day, an assortment of treats—including fresh cookies—were thoughtfully provided. Since it was close to Halloween, the tasteful seasonal decorations added a festive touch without being overdone.||The common areas were just as inviting as the rooms. Overstuffed furniture, a glowing fireplace, and a window view of the lake framed by greenery created the perfect setting to relax outside of your room. The antique furnishings throughout the hotel added a timeless charm—like stepping into another era.||Location-wise, Hotel McCall couldn’t be better. It’s right on the lake and within walking distance of charming shops, restaurants, and a delightful local co-op gallery. Morning and sunset strolls by the water were steps away, and the convenience of nearby attractions made exploring effortless.||My room was comfortable and thoughtfully appointed. Honestly, I can’t imagine staying anywhere else in McCall. This hotel has set the bar...

We absolutely loved spending our anniversary weekend here! Hotel McCall is perfectly situated next to the lake and just a few steps from great food, bars and shops. It was so perfect to be able to just step outside and be just a few feet from the lake. The hotel amenities are quaint and lovely — it’s clean, nicely decorated, cute coffee and tea station in the lobby, yummy cookies at 9:00 p.m. Our room was nice — the place is very well maintained — and oh my goodness I wish I had a bathtub like that at home! It was so long and had great jets! The room also had nice, heavy doors, so it was very quiet. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with recommendations. Shout-out to Dana and Claire! Thank you for helping make our weekend so delightful! We spent most of our weekend at the lake, hot springs less than half an hour away, and Ponderosa State Park just 1.5 miles from the hotel. We’re already planning our next visit!

Staff, atmosphere, cleanliness, helpful desk staff, overall a delightful visit. There is a beachfront directly by the side of the hotel. We watched the sunset from that location. The restaurant has fabulous food with an award winning chef. Indoor and outdoor seating. The restaurant is closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Don’t forget ice cream alley.

Nothing better than a historical hotel in a central town location that has been well maintained and kept up-to-date. Lots of public space, appropriate decoration, and services. Room is comfortable and well decorated as well. Breakfast offerings are a bit on the Spartan side but adequate to get the day started.
