Sushi Bros — Restaurant in Meridian

Whatever you do, don't order a rainbow roll here. At first I was very excited to see a new sushi spot near where I live! Unfortunately this was my experience: Went in, bought 2 rainbow rolls, went to my apartment and opened the to-go box to see 2 rolls that were tuna filled sprinkled with fish eggs. Definitely NOT rainbow rolls. Went back to tell them that I didn't get the rainbow rolls I asked for. To which they responded "that's how we make rainbow rolls." In a defensive tone. Never have I ever seen a rainbow roll look like that. It's like asking for a burger and receiving a burrito. Anyways I asked for a refund, and they were reluctant to give me one and even asked "you don't wanna at least try it?". It seemed like they were trying to get me to take a bite of it so that I could no longer get a refund for it. After a while of stalling, they finally gave me my refund. To the staff at this restaurant, please add photos for rolls of they're gonna be completely different than...

I love sushi. I really wanted this place to be good. It’s close to where I live and it’s next to a brewery I enjoy.

But, well, have you ever made your own sushi? You know how it turned out the first time you tried? That’s what this was like. The fish was not fresh (think eating Costco salmon raw, not terrible but not exactly sushi grade), the rice was a hair underdone, too much vinegar, and the rolls were unimaginative, lacking ingredients and flavor, rolled by an amateur with a texture that left me feeling gross. I ate two pieces of two rolls and couldn’t finish the other 18 pieces, and I NEVER leave a plate with food still on it.

This sushi place is one of the best there is and never disappoints! It is all five star! Why 4 stars? The ADA parking is inconsiderate. It is in the back of the building and quite a distance from the door. As if everyone can walk that far. It disgusts me being a new building. Who is planning these complexes anyway? Not people that live with mobility challenges. The front parking is smooth and there are no curbs, but there are only a few spots. Not too...
