SureStay by Best Western Meridian — Hotel in Meridian

Let me start off by saying your Welcomed in the lobby with no AC so your having to wait in a sauna until your room is ready. Then you get your key only to walk into a room that they have the AC off and refrigerator off so in the summer when I arrived its 90 degrees in my room. Then when you leave for the day and expect your room to be clean and bed made and clean towels. Only to be welcomed with No new towels and old towels gone so you have to walk down yourself to get them. NO bed made just stuff balled up on bed. And for some reason they turn the AC off every day to after they ONLY take the trash out. I am a diamon rewards member and have stayed in hotels for almost 250 plus days a year and this has got to be the WORST HOTEL of them all. Everyday you complain and all they say is sorry sir we have a new house keeper EVERYDAY for 2 months and I have to stay here for work its the only hotel thay take clc cards im area. I tell everyone and anyone that I see to leave.

UPDATE** As soon as they got this review they want to call me saying that they won't allow us to stay here anymore because we complain to much and we should have only expected our room to be clean ONCE a week because we are using CLC cards and I should have read the fine print of CLC ?. Please tell me what FINE print of a clc card should I be ready when all i get from my company is the physical card to use and no paperwork with it. I have been at hotel working for almost 10 years. But somehow this Manager just has the answers the others dont even come up with. Its mind boggling when you are trying to speak to someone and they literally for 1 barely speak clear English and 2 Don't care what your complaint is there always rite since they own the building. If they get to flustered they just say dont stay here. They have there ENTIRE FAMILY living in the hotel KIDS and grandparents im sure and I bet there rooms are clean everyday.

Just because you reply back on every REVIEW doesnt mean your always correct. Anyone can justify there self on the internet without proof. And there's proof that that POT has Always been cracked since we been there yall even Glued a door stopper on it. And also the Law will look at it as direct negligence to YOU for putting a flower pot behind a door that opens and closes everyday...

Staying here was nice! When I called to book the room, I told her what I wanted (1 queen room) and how many people in my party. She suggested a larger king and full room, that was still in our budget, that would be more comfortable for us. When we got there and checked in, I paid an extra $10 for a roll away bed and received one promptly. The room was spacious and comfortable. After about 20 minutes, the manager came up and told me that the couch was a pull out bed and brought extra linens and padding to make it a desirable option for my kids, rather than the roll away bed. She took out the roll away and refunded the $10 at checkout. There was much more space with just the pull out bed. I'm so glad she was thoughtful of our needs and wasn't just looking for money! Breakfast was good: toast, muffins, eggs, biscuits n gravy, waffles, cereal...the usual fare. The usual fare. The only thing that would have made it better is if there was a list on the door of the fridge that told what was in there and available to the guests. There was orange juice, boiled eggs,and yogurt, but I didn't see the eggs until we were done. All in all, we were very happy to stay here. It was safe and comfortable, with ample parking for our U-haul trailer we were towing with our truck. Thanks for a great stay! Oh, as we were leaving, my four year old was going down the stairs with my 8 year old (I was checking the room to make sure we didn't forget anything) and when I got out there, a room service lady was carrying my four year old down the stairs, cuz she was scared 😊 plus the flat if apples the kids were carrying. At first I was nervous that a stranger picked up my kid, but realized she was being thoughtful of her needs and helpful to us both! I thanked her and we were on our way! Great...

This place is garbage and I will never stay there again. I stayed there only about 3 hours before deciding I couldn’t stay there any longer especially overnight. I paid $104 dollars and totally NOT with it. This place is not what I’m accustomed to for a Best Western property. When I arrived the room was musty and smelled old. The front door and locks didn’t t appear safe. The covers on the bed looked dingy. The bathroom towels had brown spots all over them and were very stained. They towels looked like they had just been used and were not neatly stacked. I went to try to use the bathroom toilet and I was greeted with feces in the toilet. I attempted to flush and the commode wanted to try to overflow. I called the owner/ manager by phone. He came immediately and attempted to plunge the toilet after plunging, he stated that it was fixed, but I found toilet water all over the bathroom floor after he left. Disgusting! I also found a Walmart bag with trash tied and hanging in the back of the bathroom door. Not to mention there were locals and thugs who were hanging outside my door being extremely loud. They were actually staying next-door. They were grilling meat, playing dominoes, drinking, and smoking, along with using lots of vulgar language. This made me feel very uncomfortable. The smoke and fumes from the grill were seeping into my air conditioner as well. I had the worst experience. I won’t ever be back there. Do not stay there! That place needs to...
