Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Meridian

Very poorly managed and unprofessional. I recently visited this location and had a experience. After placing my order I was told it would be a few min. on my strips. After waiting about 20 min. Watching the employees behind the counter play around with each other, talk about each other, and seeing serval other customers that came after me get their orders and leave I asked the manager for a refund. All of a sudden I became a priority and everyone wanted to know why I had to wait so long on my order. After discovering they had gave my "spicy strips" that i had been waiting on to the wrong customer I still had to wait longer for the next ones to come up. I arrived home to discover that my order still was not correct. My strips that i waited all the time on were not spicy as I ordered (they still ended up giving me mild strips) and they did not put my sauce in the bag. when i called back the manager said that they will replace my order when I come back. I went back the next day to a different manager and explained my situation and she wentvto the back and came back out and told me she is sorry she cannot replace my order b/c she did not see anything about it and the manager from the previous day was not in. I asked if she could confirm my story with another team member that was ther the previous night that remembered me (whom i pointed out to her) or if she could call the manager from the previous night she told me "No, bit I can come back tomorrow if I want and talk to her". I told her that I paid 12 for an otder that was not correct and waited for 30min tobreceive my order and now i have wasted two trips up here due to their mess ups so NO I cant come back tomorrow. she said there is nothing she can do for me! I asked for corporate number and she refused to give it to me. This is a very poorly ran establishment by "managers" (and i use that tetm very loosley) who dont have a clue about business or customer service! I would advise anyone to choose another option unless you want to be made to feel that they are doing you a favor for allowing you to come in and buy...

2 weeks ago I stopped here and ordered I think it was a number 7, but it was the large chicken tender meal. This makes the second time that this has happened at this particular restaurant. I frequent this town as I cross country drive and last year they did the same thing to me. I ordered something at the drive-thru and I couldn't understand what the woman was saying because of their drive thru speaker and her speech, so I just assumed she understood me. I had ordered chicken tenders because they're easy to eat when you're driving down the interstate at 75 mph. What I received was fried chicken that is impossible to eat driving down the interstate at 75 mph. I tried, but it was a mess. I should have looked before I exited the drive-thru but there were cars back behind me and it was not a good time to start digging through my bags to see if I had gotten what I was supposed to get. I ended up giving up eating that chicken and throwing it away because it never would have made it to the end of my trip... Just like the last time that I ordered chicken tenders from the menu and was given fried chicken instead... What is the deal with that? The fried chicken I might add is overly greasy, overly cooked, and overly crispy. It's not as good as the rest of the Popeyes that I frequent around the nation, though it's better than the Popeyes in Monroe, LA that the whole front area got in a fist fight while I was in the drive-thru. Lady at drive thru was very rude. I ordered 4 combo dinners and ordered med. cokes with all of them. When I got to the window she tells me I only have two drinks. I said I should have four because I ordered four dinner combos she rolls her eyes and hands me a larde Sprite. So of course I thought I was getting the wrong order so I Asked her if it was the two , two peice dinners a three peice dinner and a four peice. She says yeah but she rung you up for two. I said I thought a dinner combo always came with a drink she says well she rung you up for two drink I said well I need one more and I didn't order a large Sprite (being the fact I am a diabetic) she says well you have to keep it now I said okay well can I please have one more medium coke she said well I can ring you up for one for $2.13 I said okay fine gave her the money and even said thank you even tho she had a horrible attitude and she replies ummmhmmmmm. So needless to say the customer service was not at its best today at the Bonita location. It just baffeld me how rude she was , because I worked in the restaurant business for three years and always gave a smile and was nice to the customers even in the not so ideal situations where they got a little hostile.
