The bar booth, where they first tried to seat us, smelled like it had been freshly vomited in. They had to move a few fans running on high to get to the table so I'm guessing they were still trying to dry it out and my nose wasn't lying. My coke tasted like straight syrup so I had it replaced with a limeade that tasted the way a dog turd smells. I ended up drinking water to keep from sending our sweet waitress back for a third drink order. My daughter's lemonade was so sugary she didn't touch it after the first sip. Her pasta was nearly dry, the waitress had to get more sauce for her but it was still bland. My chicken and shrimp carbonara wasn't worth the $18.49 price tag at all, freezer burnt chicken, WAY overcooked shrimp, noodles undercooked. You would expect horseradish sauce with calamari, but they sent out something that tasted like dollar general brand ranch with it, disgusting. The soup and breadsticks were fine though. Our waitress was great and if they didn't have our table bugged, she had superhuman hearing bc several times during dinner she wouldn't even be in sight of the table when we'd mention to one another to remember to ask for something and she would magically appear with it every time. She was very attentive and took excellent care of us. I would've left one star for her and another for my soup and breadsticks, but that still moist vomit table they tried to give us at the bar killed the...
Read moreRacist Bad service Unacceptable
We were driving through Meridian, MS and stopped for dinner at this location. The service was horrible. We order the endless soup and salad and we ended up being told that they were out of both after the first serving. They didn't bring our bread sticks until we were leaving. We had to go look for the waitress three times. The lady that cleans tables brought us drinks instead of our waitress. I had to go to the car because my husband forgot his wallet. The two waitresses (AA) were talking about the crackers in the parking lot right in front of my husband whom is white. I do not appreciate any kind of racist comments. Not acceptable OG. If I would have been there it would not have been pretty. Very disappointed with Olive Garden and it's service. We've never been treated with such disrespect and racism like this in any other location. To top it off, they charge full price. My husband was ready to get out of there by the time I got back into the restaurant. Over a hundred dollars and my husband left hungry. Not acceptable OG. If I could give this location no stars I would. They don't deserve the one I gave. This was on a Friday night. Only two other tables were being served in the whole restaurant. Now I can see why the parking lot was empty.
