Where to even begin?? I am not sure there are correct words to showcase how AWFUL of an experience this stay, hotel, and its staff are. To give light, we booked this trip as an escape, a reset, with our best friend after a year long battle of their 4 year olds brain cancer. Their 4 year old passed away in December. We stayed at this hotel Feb 15-17th 2025. This was a needed trip for us all. To start, the room we received was NOT the room we booked online. We booked a deluxe 2 bedroom Oceanview suit. Instead, we received a 2 bedroom unit with a hideous view of the back of the hotel next door, which is a current construction sight. This in itself caused issues due to the loud noises from the construction starting early hours. When we addressed this with the front desk staff we were told to be grateful as this is an “upgraded” room to the one we booked online. Zero sympathy to the complete change in rooms that we specifically booked. Next: the room itself was DISGUSTING. To the point it was almost uninhabitable. If you have even an ounce of care for hygiene, it would have been something you could almost not even stay in.. Our room had mold throughout, door knobs were quit literally falling off, our pocket door which was the door to the main bedroom would not close, the bed sheets were very clearly unwashed and dirty, there were bugs and filth in the shower along with hair, unknown liquids dried onto the shower floor, black and dirty grout. There was dust and debris all over the bathroom vanity and fixtures. There was black mold shining boldly and clearly on the desk in the living room, the chairs were falling apart and unsafe, there was dust ¼ inch thick on every lampshade, light fixture, trim piece and base board, light switch and air vents. The kitchen has plastic silverware and no cooking utensils, even though it is advertised that kitchenette is provided. The cabinet was so filthy that we had to prewash the single plate that was provided. Cleaning staff is not on sight, only is there Monday- Friday and if you need things such as pillows, towels, etc you have to request them on business days and 24 hrs prior to needing them. We decided to be out of the room as much as possible due to the condition of the room. We get back into the hotel around 1 AM and find that we cannot get into our room as the keypad does not work. We go to talk to front desk about this and are informed our keypad battery is dead and there is nothing they can do about it that night as there is no staff around who can handle that. “Luckily” our room had a kitchen with an exterior door and they happened to find a master key to the kitchen and the staff member who let us in via the kitchen door had to practically bust through the door to get it to open. Had we not had that kitchen door we would have been stranded outside of our hotel room until the next day. The elevators take AGES and at one point staff told us to use the service elevators and stairway which was also very run down. The pool services close at 5 PM and they close the pool down itself once the sun starts to set. The pool area is disgusting as well and beyond outdated and dirty, they also charge $300 to use the very gross an outdated beds near the pool. After we left, we emailed Debbie, the sales manager, as directed by front staff about our list of issues and she agreed to refund our stay but that since we booked through CapitalOne we had to have them contact the hotel to get the refund. So we had Capital one contact them and now the max refund they are honoring is $300. We paid $1,500 for 2 nights at this hotel… $300 does not even cover half of one of the nights stay. Unacceptable! Whatever you do, stay so, so, very far away from this hotel. They should be ashamed of themselves to say the least and it should be criminal the way they treat people, offer refunds then refuse them and the way they have zero care for the cleanliness of their spaces.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at Seacoast Suite Hotel, and I can confidently say it was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had. From start to finish, this place was an absolute disaster. Let’s start with the broken elevator in the lobby, which I got stuck in not once, not twice, but three times over the course of two days. A hotel of this size should have functioning elevators, yet this one was not only unreliable but downright dangerous. The rooms and overall property are disgustingly outdated—straight out of the 1980s, and not in a charming, retro way. Peeling paint, mold, and filth were visible throughout, making it clear that maintenance is not a priority. The hallways were equally disgusting, with stained carpeting and a pervasive musty smell that made walking to the room an unpleasant experience. Upon entering my room, I was greeted with dirty sheets (with no comforter), one single towel and washcloth for three days (both stained), and a bathroom that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months—hair on the floor, in the tub, and even on the ceiling. Housekeeping? Nowhere to be found, yet there’s a daily charge for a service that doesn’t exist. The in-room kitchen had zero supplies, making it entirely useless. The staff was completely unhelpful, rude, and unprofessional. When asking for towels at the pool on both Saturday and Sunday, I was told to "come back in an hour"—which turned into six hours with still no towels available for just 12 guests. To make matters worse, the hotel has an absurd policy of one stained pool towel per guest, with a fine if not returned by 5:30 PM. The constant slamming of doors throughout the night made sleeping impossible, and the windows in my "oceanview" room were so filthy that I couldn't see the ocean at all. To sum it up, Seacoast Suite Hotel is a disgrace. It is understaffed, poorly managed, and shockingly unsanitary. For the price they charge, it is an absolute scam.

I stayed at this hotel for 7 days for my wedding reception and honey moon. There is a great venue behind the hotel which is absolutely beautiful. But, here’s how I feel about Seacoast Suites: First, the deposit is $500. Everyone staying at the hotel must wear a wristband. The rooms are a nice size for the price with great kitchen and closet space, and a great view. A bit awkward that my neighbors could see into the bedroom and living room from their balcony if my curtains weren’t closed. There was an awkward second door in the kitchen that led to the hallway and it did not have the card key lock like the front door. The room decor has obvious wear and tear. There are three elevators, 2 for people only and 1 for service staff. Usually, people didn’t read the sign that said “use service elevator with luggage” so waiting for an elevator did take a while. The security did a great job making sure to control who belonged and who didn’t. The pool was clean and cool. The pool size was about 50 feet long and it was 3ft to 6ft deep. There is a very small bar at the pool area. Swimming towels are granted with laminated tickets (provided at check-in) and you must return the towels otherwise you’ll be charged a fee. There was private access to the beach which was never crowded, which made trips to the beach very pleasurable. Parking is conveniently in the garage under the building, but the cost is $40 per day. If you are in the need of toiletries, laundry detergent, or snacks, you will have to walk to the mini mart at the Seacoast Condos which is in the building next door. The breakfast is by order and had the basics. There was no daily room service. I only seen one laundry room on my floor and it had only one washer and dryer. Additionally, you had to use an app and load money on it to operate the washer and dryer! The location was good, quiet, and away from the dense population of South Beach. Not a bad stay.

Overall...not bad, but not great either. There is room for improvement. Our team would consider staying again pending Customer Service.

The rooms were dated and not 100% to the photos on the website and the building was under construction during our entire stay. 1 front desk lady was very kind and sweet (she had black hair, just under 6 ft tall, slender build). The vallet team was great, funny and up beat especially the two guys that worked nights. They gave us AMAZING food recommendations and joked around with us. The workers outside with the beach team were interactive and friendly. Overall solid team. Note this location requires bus / ubers to get to food or grocery stores; unless, you are okay walking 30 minutes minimum, which we were doing. We did not use the tennis court so we have no comments regarding it, but noticed that one net was broken.

Below a breakdown of the Pros and Cons we had.

Cons: -Outside bar is closed or at least while we were there it was not open during week days (no music played either outside) -Outdoor atmosphere is lacking and seems almost dead / non - existent -Many appliances didn’t work upon arrival. For example, toaster didn’t work, hair dryers didn’t work, took 2 hours to get a frying pan from front desk. -No coasters or cutting board. -There was an insufficient amount of cutlery and utensils for the kitchen. We were a party of three and in most cases minus coffee cups there was only 4s which is strange considering the room we got was for 6 people -There is no oven tools so using the oven is not possible unless you buy groceries with the appropriate tools -There is no blender with the kitchen and no ice storing system -Laundry services are not included which was not as advertised. -Wifi is limited to 4 devices which is a joke considering everyone has 2 devices on them. When asked for expanded capacity, we were informed there was a charge -Wifi is spotty and cuts out way too many times considering the technology that is out there. The building should consider a meshing system. However, the rooms are solid concrete so extenders may not resolve the issue. When the wifi was working, it was fairly fast so to some extent that was good. -Pool is not heated which was a bummer. It was colder than the ocean. -Late checkout is 150 bucks which was not disclosed at all until requested. If you want an extra hour they may accdomate. We requested late checkout multiple times, and the cleaners still knocked on our door at 9am. Good thing half of team was alreayd ready. -Cleaners only come if requested which is fine. This service was not utilized but would have been appreciated nonetheless as we cleaned the place ourselves. Would have liked fresh towels daily. -Stairs are not identified within the building on floors which seems strange from an accessibility standpoint. -The gym hours are absolutely horrendous and requires you to have a separate key (give them your room key for the gym key). Virtually impossible to leverage the gym during peak caloric burning periods. It’s also a huge pain to try and go when it’s only open from 6am-9am and 6pm-11pm…seriously frustrated. At least weekend hours were slightly better. Seriously what was the point of the hours being like that when no-one is even in there using it, or watching the room? There is also no water fountain present in the room or near by. -TVs smaller in person compared to what pictures show -No central lighting in double room bedroom. There is a switch but no actual light. -Our patio chairs were horrible! Made of rotten wood. Our neighbors, outdoor furniture, was stellar.

Pros -Great beds and 3 different firmness for pillows! Wow great! -Size of the units was fantastic! -Ac worked well -When requested getting additional appliances or new ones due to previous damaged, front desk was responsive, but it takes time to get them -Large closets ideal for family trips -Shampoo/ conditioner and soap bars provided. Would recommend lotion be provided too. -Room and lobby was clean upon checkin -Chekin was fast for us since we came...

Liked: I gave this place 2 stars instead of one because there is a walk-up window by the pool where a very nice young lady made my family great slushy beverages on a very hot day and a few feet away is a cute little outdoor restaurant where we were served by a man who was super cool and friendly. Service was fast and the food was good. They also had an affordable suite that was the right size for my 5 family members for a 1-night stay before our Carnival Cruise. Now for the reason that we were at the restaurant out back by the pool: ||Disliked: I arrived on 6/21 at 2:30pm with my sister, her preschool age daughter, and my 2 sons after flying from DC to Ft Lauderdale and then taking a 40-minute cab ride to Miami. I stood in line at the front desk and the first red flag was that the male desk clerk didn’t say “hello”, “welcome to Seacoast Suites” or anything at all! When he finished with the person in front of me, I was just standing there waiting and he put up his fingers to motion at me to come over! He quickly told us that we were early for our 4pm check-in, then when 4pm came, they told us we still can't have keys because “there are no towels in the room”. At one point, I begged him to just give us the keys and let housekeeping bring the towels later and we were told it couldn't be done (we just wanted to get our swimsuits out of our luggage and relax on the beach). I decided to wait off to the side of the front desk and spent almost 30 minutes watching him and a female clerk check in multiple other people into rooms with no problem! I also notice that they're speaking Spanish to all of the people checking in so now I’m frustrated and wondering why the one Black family in the lobby has now waited almost 2 hours for a reserved suite (we booked a month earlier- it wasn’t a surprise that we were coming). When I asked for a manager, I was told that there was none on site that day! ||The next day we didn't realize checkout was at 10:30 (typically it’s 11am) and we asked them to give us a grace period of 30 min but instead they sent a security person to bang on our door every 5 minutes to tell us we had to get out immediately (I'm not making this up). We ordered breakfast from Uber Eats and couldn't even finish. I had to tell the kids to throw their food back in the bags so we could leave quickly. The male desk clerk from the previous day apparently gave management a story in which he was some kind of victim when it was actually me who felt victimized- the gaslighting from their staff is still unbelievable to me. Note that I was the paying customer and management never asked me anything! When we asked the manager not to charge us extra for late check out because we got downstairs before 11am, he was like "NO, you argued with the desk clerk yesterday and made him cry" (NOTE: the morning desk clerk called him and gave us the phone- we didn't ever see a manager in person). I never saw the rude, sarcastic clerk cry but I cried angry tears when I hit my breaking point and told them exactly what I thought of them before we left. I'm just sorry that I spent any money here & that my family had to experience this.|||Additional Notes: We had a spacious 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom suite but some of the blinds didn't work and one bedroom had no tv. There was also a weird smell throughout the building like cheap cleaning solution and the hotel is old and needs major upgrades- there were loud noises through the night that sounded like pipes groaning. The towels that they used as an excuse to delay giving us keys were left piled next to the tv in the living room and not even placed in the bathrooms. ||This hotel has the beach on the back side and the bay on the front so the location and views are pretty amazing. Desk staff and management was extremely rude, unapologetic, and let you know that they didn't care what customers thought of their behavior- they lacked common courtesy and are in need of major customer service training. Nothing about the pool made me want to get in it and website pics are...
