We called ahead a reserved the Stay, Park, and Cruise package. We drive from north FL and with the Hampton’s package the parking is much less expensive than the ports. And the shuttles to and from the ports are convenient and inexpensive. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and huge. It may have been large as it was an accessible room. The accessible rooms were all that were left when we got to the Select Your Room time. We had panoramic views of city blocks and the Bay a bit past the blocks. The room had a mini fridge, coffee set-up, closet, iron, ironing board, full-length mirror; all the necessities, including a sofa and two ottomans, which was very nice. The water pressure was pleasantly quite strong. Breakfast was what you would expect at any Hampton Inn and perfect for us. Unfortunately, when we checked in on September 6 around 5ish the lady who checked us in was…indifferent. I would say a forced smile, at best. I asked about the parking and she somewhat explained what we needed to do. I just wanted to know we were getting the package pricing, but couldn’t quite get reassured. We had several pieces of luggage to carry in and I asked if they had a luggage cart. She was quick to say “We don’t have them”. I looked surprised. She then looked past me and flatly said “Oh, there’s one”. I asked about the shuttle and she scheduled it. I asked about the return shuttle, and she said, flatly, “We don’t provide a return shuttle”. Seriously, it’s a one-way Stay, Park, and Cruise package? When we tried to drive into the parking garage, we couldn’t get the arm to lift. We didn’t have a scannable ticket, she just gave us a stub for the dashboard. We had to buzz to get help in. The shuttle pick-up was a bit scattered. We did change our pick-up shuttle schedule by one hour, and they accommodated. Surprisingly, as we were departing the shuttle for port, we heard the shuttle driver say “ pick you up back here” as she hopped in the shuttle. To confirm details, since we were told there was no shuttle pick up, we called the hotel three times while on the cruise, but were placed on hold too long. The fourth time they provided a disconnected number. The last attempt, we got a number to a private shuttle service. We were calling and making arrangements with them the last night and all the way past customs after disembarkation. We had the same issue exiting the garage as we had entering. I’m usually pretty easy on reviews. There were other service issues here, as well. Mostly were all directly related to the unhelpful and unhappy check-in associate. I swear, I think her goal was to make our experience as unpleasant as humanly possible.

Advantages: room with decent sound isolation, looking modern, clean AC, spacious; friendly staff, decent cleaning service Disadvantages: bed comfort could be better; the shower provides low amount of water so taking a shower takes ages; there is no detachable shower, so it’s difficult to shower legs or a baby; there was no soap at sink; breakfast was below expectations: hotel serves basic American breakfast only, some food (eg fruits) is missing and not refilled 40 minutes before the breakfast end time. Breakfast restaurant AC is very aggressive - too cold. Overall the breakfast is unhealthy and missing a lot! For example there were no vegetables at all, apples were packed in plastic foil, and there was no real tableware - only plastic. The hotel should improve a lot in this space. Eating with plastic fork, knive and on paper plates is very far away from what I expect in a Hilton chain hotel. Moreover, we encountered problems with WiFi network. Once disconnected it had issues connecting again and attempt to open any website returned in SSL certificate error which indicates that hotel WiFi attempted to interfere with secure communication! That is least to say suspicious!

I usually do NOT write reviews to many things I've experienced, mostly due to not having time. If I write a review, then service was REALLY bad or REALLY good - it would be a disservice not to inform others. Day 1: My Room DIRTY & UNSANITARY ! The bed was barely made up, rice grains, hair, dirt on the room floor. The toilet had urine residue on the lid, table with gravy stains from the prior guest meal not cleaned off - gross. I immediately called the reception desk (which is probably the only reason why this review is even getting one star), she apologized, sent an email to the manager that day and UP UNTIL NOW I HAVE NOT HEARD A RESPONSE FROM YET . She sent the cleaner upstairs who PARTIALLY cleaned the room with disdain- which consisted of poor sweeping and moping with a stick that she attached a microfiber cloth to (makeshift mop). She took the same microfiber cloth prior to wet the floor with only water from the sink (to clarify, she had NO mop, NO bucket and NO cleaning agent of any kind to clean) and left puddles of water that we eventually had to dry ourselves in order to make sure no one fell .

Our room was located on the side of the pool, which apparently gets VERY NOISY at night until all the way into the morning time with what seems to be with loud industrious machinery; perhaps to wash clothes? Either way, SUPER ANNOYING when trying to sleep. The "cherry on top" of this experience goes out to Mickey, the night time receptionist and the security guard who's in charged of "cleaning the pool" ; who neither has good customer service to clients and doesn't follow hotel protocol as they only bends rules for specific clients versus others. It's wrong, biased and unprofessional. As a word of advise, Mickey the CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. Would I come back? Hell no! I might would possibly reconsider it if they changed or better train their staff and actually give them better cleaning supplies - we're STILL IN A PANDEMIC for crying out loud! The hotel location is good, provides breakfast, around a lot of shops - but the service has been a HORRIFIC experience. If you still choose to come here...
