I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience at a McDonald's location, and I feel compelled to share my negative review. I decided to place a mobile order at this particular McDonald's, hoping for a convenient and pleasant experience. However, what transpired was nothing short of a nightmare.
Upon arriving at the restaurant, I approached the designated booth to collect my order, only to be greeted by an extremely aggressive employee who informed me that they were already closed. Now, I understand that businesses have operating hours, but the manner in which I was informed was completely uncalled for. Instead of politely explaining the situation, the employee proceeded to insult me, showing a complete lack of professionalism and basic courtesy.
When I asked to be treated with respect and kindness, hoping for a resolution or at least an apology, the employee's behavior became even more hostile. It is absolutely unacceptable for a customer to be subjected to such rude and offensive treatment, especially considering the purpose of the interaction was to pick up a pre-ordered meal.
I was left feeling humiliated and disrespected by the actions of this employee, and I can confidently say that I will never recommend this particular McDonald's location to anyone. It is disheartening to witness such poor customer service and an utter lack of empathy from an establishment that prides itself on its fast-food service.
As a customer, I believe it is crucial to be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of the circumstances. Unfortunately, this McDonald's failed miserably in meeting these basic expectations. The unprofessional conduct of the employee not only tainted my experience but also left a lasting impression that will discourage me from ever returning.
In conclusion, I strongly advise against ordering anything from this particular McDonald's location. The rude behavior of the staff member I encountered was inexcusable, and no customer should have to endure such treatment. McDonald's should take immediate action to address these issues and ensure that their employees are trained to provide exceptional service, even in...
Read moreBiscayne Blvd., and 35th Street Based upon what I observed and experienced at the drive-thru window with 4 employees (one who couldn't even understand or speak English), I made a complaint to McDonald's yesterday and will wait to hear from someone with the franchise owner's organization. The owner needs to know how poorly managed this restaurant is, and how inadequately the employees are trained to do their jobs. I also have contacted and submitted a written complaint to Chris Kempczinski, CEO of McDonald's, as well as Steve Easterbrook who is the President and Chief Executive Officer of McDonald's in Chicago. They need to understand why McDonald's is doing so poorly; afterall, when they have to communicate to their Board members and investors about a drop in multiple quarterly revenues and earnings over the past year, maybe then they will take a look at how poorly they select, train and manage their employees to create a positive customer experience with stellar service. I will not be going to this, or any other, McDonald's again! It was that bad. McDonald's corporation needs to do a thorough investigation of how this restaurant is NOT being properly managed by the franchise owner and managers. The owner clearly must put numbers before people. Horrible, horrible experience! Will stick with Wendy's instead. They have much better food and service!
04/05/2021 - As a follow-up to my complaint to McDonald’s 1-800#, and the CEO, I did receive a written response and phone call. Kathy was very appreciative of the feedback received and thorough in her explanation of actions taken as a result of a completed investigation. I was also compensated for the experience I had at this McDonald’s. I will add that although I had been to this McDonald’s regularly and others in Miami with very courteous and service oriented people, this was truly an isolated incident. It is my hope that, if I ever return to this specific McDonald’s that I have a...
