Naranja Piña Gelato — Restaurant in Miami

I don't know what is so special about this Gelato place. It's definitely not 4.9 stars worth.

To the owner: Your nuts based flavors are really not that great. I ordered pistachio and it's clearly American pistachio. You should use Sicilian pistachio for the real gelato taste.

Other than that the texture needs to be as smooth as silky. This wasn't. The creaminess and thickness was lacking.

Finally for $10 for 2 scoops of ice cream is simply not worth the quality of "gelato" being...

I never write reviews, but this place was exceptional. During our stay we visited twice because it was that good. The owner and staff were very personable and made us feel very welcome. They had a lot of knowledge surrounding their product. It was not overly crowded like other nearby shops, and had better quality gelato in my and my family's opinion. $8 for 2 very large scoops in a big cone (that i couldn't finish) was very affordable. Cute little spot off Calle Ocho that has fantastic service and good ice cream! They were super patient and willing to let us try many flavors. I eventually went with Pistachio which was GREAT and very authentic flavor (no lime green coloring, flavor really similar to some gelato we had in Italy!). We also enjoyed the Kinder flavor.
