Black Rifle Coffee Company — Restaurant in Midland

I made my first trip to Black Rifle Coffee today and I am completely impressed. In a world where customer service seems to be an afterthought rather than a staple, this team is rising far above its corporate counterparts. I started at the menu rather overwhelmed by options. I told the barista it was my first time and I needed help navigating my options. She was MORE than happy to help - she offered several options but emphasized one of the signature drinks as a very popular option. She then gave me multiple options on the sweet and savory sides of the breakfast menu to help me make my choice there as well. Not once was a rushed. Not once was I made to feel bad for having questions or needing assistance. The young man who took my payment was also super kind and very personable. My wait was less than a few minutes, but he apologized any way and made sure I was happy with everything. I called later in the morning to talk to the manager and let her know her team was doing a great job, and she was a total gem!! We discussed my visit and she was very kind, answered some questions I had, and never made feel bad for taking up her time.

This entire team is doing a great job and I will definitely be back!! The coffee was fantastic, and the kolache was amazing!! The customer service was above and beyond... Great job Sandra & Team!! You guys...

edited from 2 star to 4 star! New review: After taking a long break from Black Rifle, a friend asked to meet up there, and I had a great experience. I decided to give it another try and started going again every week or so. The last several months have been much more consistent. It’s quite rare now that a drink is not made well, and the staff are friendly!

Original review: I wanted SO. BADLY. to leave a 5 star review! I love going to sit in this coffee shop, the atmosphere is great. And I’m aware that sometimes coffee shops aren’t perfectly consistent, especially with training new employees and whatnot. But you guys. The drinks here are SO inconsistent!! They’re already pricy, which would be fine if the drink were always good. But with them being quite expensive AND giving me gross drinks half the time? No thank you. I’ll order the exact same mocha cold brew with heavy cream several times in a row, sometimes it’s delicious! Other times it’s watery. Other times it’s bitter and acidic. Today I ordered a small mocha blended drink. The cup wasn’t even filled all the way to the top, there was a measly splatter of whipped cream, and it was full of entire ice cubes!! It’s as if they blended half a drink, then filled it up with ice to almost reach the top of the cup....

Really great coffee, great staff and great atmosphere! Love this place. It makes Starbucks look like McDonalds. Get in there and support your Veterans, your current military and our first responders. We wouldn't be able to have the freedom to choose where we purchase our coffee, and then write a review about it, without the sacrifices of those before us. You think you can find a positive or negative review of a coffee place in China? What about Little Rocket Man in North Korea? Is he allowing you to speak about his java? I don't think so. Legend has it that there isn't even any coffee AT ALL in North Korea. Just the Rocket Man's warm bath water if you're so inclined. So, thank you Black Rifle Coffee...
