My fiancé, daughter, and I have lived at The Everett for about two years. When we first moved in, we rented a one-bedroom, and our experience was excellent. The management at that time was attentive, maintenance was quick and effective, and the community felt safe and welcoming. Our first year was truly unmatched—we were happy to call The Everett home.
However, after moving into a two-bedroom for our second year, we began to notice a significant decline. The management team changed, and with that change came a noticeable drop in quality. What was once a well-run, safe, and family-friendly community now feels neglected.
Some of the major concerns include: • Lack of oversight from management – issues are no longer addressed with the same care or urgency. • Maintenance delays – we submitted multiple work orders, many of which went completely unnoticed. On the occasions they were addressed, it often took months to complete. Even emails to management would take weeks to get a response. • Unsafe conditions – vehicles speeding through the complex like a racetrack, little to no enforcement of safety measures, and minimal visible security. • Drug activity – frequent smells of drugs in common areas and a lack of response to complaints. • Cleanliness concerns – pet waste (both urine and feces) is consistently left in walking areas where children play and residents walk. • Noise and disturbances – loud music, suspicious vehicle activity, and a general lack of community standards being upheld.
For the amount of money residents are paying to live here, more care and attention should be put into the upkeep of each apartment and the overall community. The lack of accountability from management makes the decline even more disappointing.
While we are grateful to The Everett for providing us with a home during this time, it’s disheartening to see the community deteriorate. It feels more business-driven in design and image than genuinely focused on resident well-being.
We hope management takes these concerns seriously and restores The Everett to the high standard it once upheld. Future residents should be aware of both the positives and the challenges of...

My AC didn't work through at least three months during the summer. Imagine living with 90 deg weather and no AC. Each time I submitted a request to fix they refilled the coolant, which "fixed" it for a week but didn't actually repair the leak. I feel bad for the new tenant going into that same apartment.
When I called and emailed to ask why my rent was going up so much (several hundred) at the end of my lease period, I got no response from management. Several calls, voicemails, emails... no response. Finally after two months I got a message saying I was going on a month to month plan since I hadn't accepted their new terms... and that rate was $400 more than what I was paying. I immediately submitted my notice to vacate but of course I had to wait 2 months to move out, per the lease terms.
On weekends, the community pool becomes a public pool due to residents letting in multiple guests. You're only allowed two visitors, but I've never seen this rule enforced. Aside from the noise and additional mess this creates in the public spaces, it's annoying to know that the residents' lease payments are subsidizing this public pool.
After I moved out they charged me an additional $250 for cleaning fees for the carpet, which I left clean and vacuumed. I submitted an inquiry to dispute this but I am not...
Read moreMy wife and I recently moved into The Everett at Ally Village and we are extremely pleased with the level of support we received from the staff, especially Kinley. From the moment we entered, we were greeted with kindness and warmth. Kinley was incredibly helpful and made the decision to move in extremely easy. We looked at various apartments in Midland, but none of them compared to the exceptional experience we have had at The Everett at Ally Village.
The amenities are truly outstanding. The pool, gym, ping pong and pool table provide us with endless entertainment and opportunities to meet our neighbors. The facilities are modern and sleek, with a contemporary design that exudes style and sophistication. The apartments themselves are spacious, well-designed and thoughtfully laid out, making our living experience comfortable and enjoyable.
The Everett at Ally Village is truly an oasis of tranquility. The peaceful surroundings and quiet atmosphere make it the perfect place to come home after a long day. We feel incredibly lucky to live here and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, safe and quiet place...
