My first experience here wasn't the best - I didn't feel particularly taken care of by Jean, who seemed kind of short with me - but we all have bad days so I didn't write JC Grant off entirely. I came to get the prongs/stone tightened on a ring, and was quoted $30 and it took about 4 business days.
A few weeks later the stone had come loose again and I stepped back into the store and had a much more pleasant experience. The stone was tightened at no charge in less than 5 minutes, and I also had my watch battery changed ($10) in less than 5 minutes. I felt taken care of and like a valued customer even though I didn't spend more than $10.

Owner had it replaced and watch ticking w/in 10 mins for only $10. Again, after consulting w other jewelers, I came in to get estimate on custom piece requiring setting of 3 new stones, replacement of round diamonds to baguettes and fully retaining details on old band which has great sentimentality. Since I had such a pleasant experience, I went back last week to have a necklace repaired. Although it was just costume jewelry, it was sentimental. It had broken in two places. They had it fixed in 24 hours and it looks brand new. Again, it only cost $5.
