Extremely upset with Need a Nerd. Needed a new screen on my phone after moderately cracking it and they put a new screen on, but it wasn't the actual Apple certified screen that the phone originally came with. It caused my phone screen to constantly glitch when in us. Less than a month later, I barely dropped my phone once, and it created a dead space on the screen. I took it back in to Need a Nerd, requesting the correct screen be put on my phone for free or for cheaper than the original price I paid, but I was informed that I had "broken the warranty," a warranty that I wasn't even aware that I had, by damaging the phone. Two weeks later, I barely dropped my phone again, and the screen is completely messed up internally. I admit I have a problem dropping my phone, but even before Need a Nerd fixed my screen, my phone could take a couple of falls and not be damaged internally. Thankfully, Simply Mac in Macon has actual Apple products and the correct screen, so I will be taking my service up. I don't mind spending more money to have the correct screen put on my phone, but I believe it's unprofessional to lie to your customers that there is only one screen for the iPhone when the one you have in store is...
Read moreIve had to get 3 screen replacements here over the past 2 or 3 months because of the sub par, cheap, uncertified screens they use that they buy for 20 dollars and sell to you for 100$+. After about 2 weeks the screens start getting dead spots and I understand if someone is selling faulty equipment and they dont know about it its one thing, but when we brought it back and they met us with the MOST disrespectful attitude. And then they wanted to say that we had voided a warranty that we never even purchased. There were 2 new cracks in the screen when we went back and thats what they said it was from. However those cracks werent there when we dropped the phone off. DO NOT GO HERE. They will break your phone and blame it on you, make you over pay for a screen thats probably off of wish.com then repeat the process if...
Read moreAt the end of 2014 I took an older desktop PC to the folks at Need a Nerd for repair. It had power supply and motherboard problems. The problems were identified and solutions were offered. I chose the best option for my needs and within days the job was finished and the âlike newâ PC was at home and working well.
Thanks to the folks at Need A Nerd we now have another working PC and are very satisfied and happy with the results. Pleasant store atmosphere, and sales people. Knowledgeable tech staff who offered more than one option for repairs and costs. Super quick turn-around and an overall job well done. And I think the price was fair. Itâs good to have N a N so convenient and trustworthy. ...
