Love these guys. Smaller in size than most of the many locations of this nationally franchised hardware store, they were conveniently located immediately to the right of the restaurant that my husband I were completely cleaning out, remodeling, and re-opening as a totally different kind of dining establishment, the old building had been vacant and abandoned for four years and needed a floor to ceiling cleaning, overhaul, and re-design before opening. Best part of all? The winter was a very cold one, and I noticed after the first two weeks that they would always have a pot of hot, fresh coffee to make the seven-thirty a.m. start something to look forward to. Thanks again, guys. The restaurant we worked long hours to bring to life might be permanently closed, but y'all made the hard work that...
Read moreGreat local option when you need to quick fix something! I didn't realize this place was in downtown until I had already made a WalMart run and purchased something that didn't work. He gave me a solution that worked like a charm! Was in and out quickly and with the expertise you expect from an Ace Hardware. The only issue was the smell. Exactly what you would think an old hardware store would smell like. A cross between Grandpa's basement workshop and a flea market. I could barely breathe in the store, but I'll...
