Very Old exhausted property, Elevators, Stairs, Parking lots & Furniture all along with very lousy A/C unit with dirty outlet vents, which prevents you from having a pleasant sleep, even when you switch it off still A/C fan keep working and it was on Auto mode. The moment you enter your room, you smell the fungus of the old, exhausted carpet & the smell of the humidity. It was unbelievably bad experience. No services of any kind. Its beach resort, but unfortunately there is no services at all offered in the beach for Wyndham owners or guests, so its like any other hotel than I can book and go to the beach myself with my equipment. Actually, this resort and its zero offered services is pushing me to rethink many times before completing my purchase with Wyndham Vacations time share. You will see something while selling, displaying the time share services and in reality, you will get a completely different package. Regarding the resort pool, it’s very poor swimming pool & I tried to go to the other three pools that I can access as per the receptionist’s advice and all of them was locked and not working at all. This location has fewer points compared to others, still it’s not accepted at all, and I can’t comprise it as at the end of the day it’s not free. Anybody will be in this resort and in room # 562 that I was checked in, I am assured he will never visit this resort at all and he will cancel its progress with Wyndham Destinations.I tried to use other swimming pools that Wyndham can access, but unfortunately all were locked and not working and this is an example. Read moreI am an owner. We bought into Club Access this past summer. Carl Richardson "Rich" sold us the package and he said he was going to be our ambassador helping us navigate a timeshare. Well... he LIED! I have called him several times only to hear that he will call me later in the day that never happened. If you go to one of their morning sessions beware. Wyndam doesn't seem to be any better than when I bought in 20+ years ago. What a shame!
UPDATE TO RESPONSE BELOW. It doesnt appear that I can respond below. I did reach out prior to writing the review. The lady stated I would need to speak directly to Rich. I explained that was the issue... he would not return calls. She stated she would pass along my mobile number to your leadership team but they too would not returned my call. Very disrespectful.

5/22/2025 Update... Well I'm finally not an owner at this location thanks to Wyndham PCB... I have posted each year since I was mislead. I'm guessing some may think I am a bitter soul, but very easy to get along with as long as you are honest with me! You can make your own decision. 😉
6/17 2025 As stated in my reviews... the location, rooms and staff are very nice, but met with Crystal (Sales) yesterday here in Destin. Hard to believe... but I think she my have been more deceitful than Rich. She wanted to refinance my loan.. but tried to add more points moving me to "Gold Staus"... without telling me what she was doing. She tried to bury it in the numbers. Read moreThe room was not maintained to the standards we are used to for a Wyndham, our first room had mold around the bathroom fan and the shower curtain rod was barely hanging on. The second room was better, but the dishwasher door "popped" every time it was opened and closed. Other than that, the hotel itself was very nice, and the hotel staff was very nice. The sales department is another story. We went to a meeting for what was supposed be for us to ask questions about our purchase less than 30 days prior. It turned into we want to refinance your current loan but have to sell you more points to do it. It actually sounded good at the time so we signed. After a day of sitting and going over figures presented to us, we realized that we won be paying much more than discussed so we canceled the contract. We contacted our sales rep, set up a meeting and explained our position. We were provided with a contract cancelation form. Filled it out, signed it and our sales rep signed it. We were assured everything was good. That was August. Now in October, we have a new vacation club card with over $3000 charged to it, a batch of points on a contract we supposedly cancelled and a large payment to Wyndham for said points. I have had to email and fax a copy of the cancelation form to get our contract reversed. The credit card charge has not been reversed and we are stuck making payments u til we get this all cleared up. All because the sales/finance department can't/didn't/won't do their job.
