Surfside Spa — Local services in Miramar Beach

My husband and I own 2 units at Surfside and I am a spinal injured quadriplegic. I have never had a massage before because it is uncomfortable for me to be prone on a table and I don't have sensation below my chest. We have gotten to know Thomas over the years and he is a genuinely nice, caring & hard working guy.

I told him about my issue with massages and he said he would do a custom massage of my neck, shoulders and arms while I was sitting in my chair. He did a wonderful custom 30 min massage for me a year or so ago but I just had another amazing custom neck/shoulder/arm massage while we were at Surfside 2 weeks ago. What I love about Thomas is he really listens to what is hurting/aching and asks you if the pressure is too much or too little. He worked on my right shoulder to alleviate the constant aching and also broke up the knots that kept me from turning my head all the way right or left. I left all loose and pain free!

I have several wheelchair users that rent our accessible condo and I give them $50 gift certificates to either the restaurant in the building or Surfside Spa for being repeat guests. I have one guest in particular that always chooses a custom massage from Thomas! I have also gotten great feedback about Frances from able-bodied guests!

Hubby and I went to Surfside Spa for a 1-hour couples massage for our anniversary. This was his first and my 3rd massage. The staff is very friendly. We did wait outside the office door for 15 minutes or so before deciding to knock. There are chairs there and a sign on the door indicating they are either in a massage or not there, so we thought we had to wait. When we finally walked, in, we realized that there is a waiting area inside the outer door. I wish I could remember our therapists' names.... Francis and... I can't remember. Both were awesome, though. Hubby got Francis for her ability to provide more pressure/deep tissue, and he wasn't disappointed. We both had knots, especially in our shoulders/neck/upper back, and they were thoroughly worked out. Both therapists were quiet in the session (I've had a chatter before and it was not pleasant) and did a very thorough job. I will go back the next time we are in...

I had an AWESOME experience here. From the moment I walked in, everyone was so welcoming and sweet. Very relaxing, peaceful atmosphere, checking in for my appointment was such a pleasant experience (the assistant was so sweet answering my questions). My massage therapist Carlie was so kind and my massage was perfect. She checked to make sure I was comfortable and the pressure was good (I got a deep tissue message). I walked away very relaxed and was very happy with my experience, I wish this spa was located where I live. I will mention the spa is located inside a hotel, I didn’t realize it at first but you are able to park very close to the entrance. It is very convenient to get to. (I wanted to mention so you know what to look for).
