First of all, there is NO FREE BREAKFAST.|After we paid and checked in we were asked if we had questions and I asked where we got breakfast and the answer was "there is no breakfast." I said that their website advertised free breakfast, and they acknowledged that yes, it did, but there was none.|This was after we had paid, of course. And why bother changing something if it will make you more money?|But I calculated the budget with that in mind, and suddenly it's dramatically smaller since I'll have to go out to eat.|Since they are literally, unapologetically, not giving part of what we paid for, I removed two stars. The whole thing was skeezy, and of course most hotels are sold out now so it's not like we could just go somewhere Else. The entire thing is super unethical.|Also, we checked in as two people and they only gave us a single room key, which was super inconvenient.|As far as the rooms, they're clean, small. Very, very hard mattresses but the bed in our room made a weird, large metallic sound when we got on it, and occasionally when moving.|There's a microwave and a larger than average mini fridge, the former of which is not common.|There's no bath but the shower is nice and probably better than a cramped bath would be. Not enough room for toiletries though, as for some reason they decided to block the only toiletry shelf with those unhygienic built in ones, which literally only have poor quality shampoo and shower gel. I'd rather have nothing than this. :(|The walls are thin and you can pretty much hear everything outside your room, but it's not in a super busy area at least or close to the highway so it's not too bad.|Also, it has good ac, which was already on when we checked in, which was nice. They also allowed us to check in 30 minutes early, but that in no way makes up for the lack of breakfast, and their reaction to it, like they didn't just bait and switch us, and sell us something they didn't deliver.|I could have booked somewhere else cheaper, or somewhere else that actually offered breakfast which would have made it cheaper in the long run, and I am deeply displeased. Especially because it was so expensive (prices were up because the air show. Not why I was there but it meant hotels were full and prices were insanely high.)|Honestly, for very little difference in price I could have gotten someplace much nicer, or, again, with breakfast.|Also, if you are coming as a tourist it's worth noting it's quite a walk from any of the big tourist locations (aquarium, fisherman's warf, etc)||Pros:|AC!!!|Microwave|Larger than average mini fridge|Shower so close to being nice except the toiletry situation||Cons:|No breakfast|Small size|No view|Poor service|Thin walls|Location||Could go either way:|Hard mattresses. Great if you like it, sucks if you don't.|Price: it was very pricey when we booked, but other days it seemed pretty average or even lower, so this seems to be a timing thing.||Overall, I think a three is fair. I really wanted to give a 2 or even 1 because I was so mad about the breakfast, but I think 3 is objectively accurate to...

Pros: AC!!! Microwave Larger than average mini fridge Shower so close to being nice except the toiletry situation
Cons: No breakfast Small size No view Poor service Thin walls Location
Could go either way: Hard mattresses. Great if you like it, sucks if you don't. Price: it was very pricey when we booked, but other days it seemed pretty average or even lower, so this seems to be a timing thing.
It would be 3 sta but it's a 2 for the literal false advertising and not giving what's paid for, without apology or...
Read moreBEWARE!!! Do not book a stay with this establishment! I had made a reservation (Paid In Full) through hotels.com over 1 month in advance for a total of $249. The day of our stay we arrived at approximately 8:30pm to learn that the hotel had no power, no lights, no heat, and that we would not be able to stay. The owner let me know that the power had been out since 7 am that day and that it had not returned. They did not provide notification and upon arrival with my wife and 3 children, were forced to seek other accommodations. Because others had similar experiences, we found no accommodations within the area. To add insult to injury, the owners refused at the time and have refused with hotels.com as well to offer a refund. All-in-all, these people stole our hard earned money and continue to refuse refund. I did purchase trip insurance and hope to see some compensation within the next few weeks but it should never have come to that. These people were paid for a service that they were unable to provide and upon notice, continue to refuse to do the right thing.
Do yourself a favor and move on. In my view, these people are thieves!
Update: The “Hotel Manager” responded to my review claiming to understand and offer to work with me and hotels.com to resolve. HOWEVER… they have refused refund or any other compensation. Hotels.com had a very difficult time getting them to answer the phone and they have not answered at any point when I have called. I have initiated an insurance claim against this booking and stand by my claim that this is a dishonest business who has taken advantage of a client. I even more strongly urge you to take your business elsewhere. This business is untrustworthy and lacks common decency. They responded to this review with a false statement to save face but continue to do nothing. I’m out my hard earned money and my family suffered at their action, or lack thereof!
Hotels.com is less than...
