This hotel is truly one of the best I’ve ever stayed at, and my experience was overall fantastic! From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with warmth and professionalism by the staff, who were incredibly polite and accommodating. They went out of their way to ensure my stay was comfortable, which made me feel valued as a guest. The lobby was a standout feature—it was beautifully decorated with festive Christmas decorations, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The sparkling lights, elegant tree, and festive touches really added a magical holiday charm to the entire space.
The room I stayed in was spacious and well-designed, offering a perfect balance of comfort and style. The bed was plush, and I loved the little details like the soft, fluffy towels and complimentary toiletries. The water in the bathroom was crystal clear and clean, which is something I always pay attention to, and it exceeded my expectations here. Additionally, the hotel’s amenities were impressive, from the well-maintained pool to the relaxing lounge areas that were perfect for unwinding.
One small area for improvement, however, was the cleaning service. While the room was generally tidy, I did notice some details that could have been better attended to, such as dust on certain surfaces and a missed spot in the bathroom. It wasn’t enough to ruin my experience, but with a bit more attention to detail in cleaning, this hotel could truly reach perfection.
Despite that minor flaw, this place is an amazing choice for anyone looking for a welcoming and enjoyable stay. The overall ambiance, combined with the hospitality of the staff and the attention to making guests feel at home, makes it a standout among the hotels I’ve visited. I highly recommend it to anyone, especially during the holiday season when the festive decorations create such a warm and cheerful vibe. I would definitely...
Read moreI am a third-generation hotelier. My grandfather and father built and ran hotels in Central America. To be honest, now adays, I rarely run into exceptional customer service. Well, this hotel demonstrated that above and beyond service. I read reviews before I stay anywhere. The reviews were actually good for this hotel. Well, I found out why the reviews were so good. Cindy, the front desk manager checked us in. The hotel had a warm feel to it and very clean. I told her that I was reserving an Uber for the next morning for our trip to Amtrak. She stated that Uber doesn't really run out in Mt Pleasant and that if it didn't show up, she would take us. That is exactly what Cindy did the next morning after our Uber did not show up. Cindy took us to Amtrak and then drove us next door to a quaint coffee shop and helped us with our luggage into the coffee shop. Our train was running late, so she said if we had any problems, she wouldn't mind bringing us back to the hotel. In fact, Cindy didn't take the cash I offered her for the ride. The kindness of Cindy and the staff is simply not what you see anymore. I am so grateful that excellent customer service is not lost on this beautiful hotel in Mount...
Read moreBED BUGS, Dirty, Unpleasant in Mt Pleasant. There's reviews saying this place is clean but there is nothing clean about it. The staff are quite friendly and kind, but that doesn't make up for the quality of the rooms. Loose hairs from all parts of the body lie underneath the mattress if you wish to look. All blankets, sheets, and pillow sheets smell as if dossed in bleach to hide stains. I woke up middle of the night/ 3am, my cheek itched, grabbed my flash light and found a bed bug. There is nothing clean about these rooms. Carpet, unvacuumed, the tub, had drips of yellow pee stains on the rim from a previous visitor peeing into the shower while standing outside of the tub. Shower had a cracked wall. Snot wiped on the headboard from a previous visitor. There is a facade of clean and as soon as you look one level deeper, you...
