Taco Bell / KFC — Restaurant in Mount Pleasant

I've never had a complaint about this place until now. We went through the drive-thru and ordered 2 meals. We pulled up, were greeted and asked what we wanted. My husband first ordered a number 6 (chalupa meal) with chicken and a Pepsi. We both thought the woman said "Okay" and he started to order the next meal. She cuts in with "Whoa! Can't you just hold on a moment?" We feel bad we jumped the gun there by mistake, but there was no need for her to get snippy with us.

We pay and get the food. The younger woman working the window was nice. She even gave us a treat for our dog. I'd give her 5 stars if I could, since she did her job the way she should have.

We drove the 20 miles home and opened up our meals. My husband order the Luxe Box and got what looked like slop. It had been crushed in the box by the weight of my meal on top of it. It was maybe a Mexican pizza, but it certainly wasn't a Luxe Box. Either way, it was smashed all over the box and made with stale tortillas. My meal was steak chalupas instead of chicken. Also, if they thought my husband ordered a Mexican Pizza, then we should have also got another taco with it. Our bag only contained two tacos.

I wish I could attach a picture of the mess my husband ended up with, but unfortunately, he just sat down and ate it, anyway. I wish he wouldn't have, because I would have driven back there to complain to the manager about the rudeness and...

Visited this location a few times. They are usually pretty quick, but this time took the cake. There was a long line for drive through (Halloween night, everybody's gotta get something for their kids to eat that ISN'T solid sugar wrapped in plastic). Sat in the DT line for several minutes before we noticed there's almost nobody parked so we park and go in. Ordered at the counter, they were quick and helpful, assisting us with the order process as it's so easy to get lost in the enormous menu that makes zero sense to my spazz-brain. We ordered a 12pc chicken bucket meal with tenders for the toddlers and sides of coleslaw, Mac n cheese, and baked beans. They made a mistake on our order and gave us potatoes and gravy instead of coleslaw. We pointed it out and they gave us our coleslaw and let us keep the potatoes as recompense for the 'inconvenience.' We were in and out in about 10 minutes which is phenomenal for how busy they were and we had a pretty big order. The chicken was ON POINT, perfectly crispy and nice and meat was still juicy. Highly recommend this facility. Maybe they can teach the folks at Hardee's how to make food in a timely manner. Their Taco Bell is...

It’s very unfortunate to watch this store go downhill recently, both TacoBell and KFC. It used to be great, but for the past year, I have eaten here dozens of times and always wind up disappointed. I’ve kept coming back hoping that it will be better, but nothing seems to change. This location really needs a complete overhaul. And I know it’s not every location because I have NEVER had this issue in Burlington. Every time I have been here, at least half of my order is inedible due to it being so old and barely luke warm. I come when it’s busy so how is the food never fresh?! How long are the employees letting this food sit out? Honestly seems like they are overdue for an inspection because I guarantee they are not following ServSafe protocols. I even tried dining in to see if that would help, but it’s not worth it to have it remade when it’s every single item. Make it right...
