On Tuesday evening february 20th after making reservations a couple days before at the country inn in we were waiting for my husband's pension check to come through we called before we got there to see if we can see the lobby until the direct deposit came through they said yes we got there between 4:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. and we explained to the clerk at able to stay in the lobby until his direct deposited she said yes are the clerk that came in at 3rd shift made his first order of business to come out in the lobby rudely and almost condescending decided to belittle me by telling me how foolish he thought I was that I thought I could sit there till 2:00 in the morning without checking in I had a reservation I called the hotel we were in a situation where my pregnant wife and I are not homeless people and that we had some banking issues and my pension would be deposited direct depositat around 2:00 a.m. and we'll be good to go with the reservation we madeuntil March 1stl he tells me that that was ridiculous for me to think that they would be acceptable to that that we have to take our things get off the propert y he would be canceling our reservation and said there was plenty hotels in the area see if anyone would put up with us in their lobby till 2:00 a.m. well just so you know we went across the street to the Days inn and they were extremely accommodating totally professional and wonderful a and totally accommodating exactly what you would expect from a professional StepL. So just so you know the nearly thousand dollars that you would have made from our stay is now at a much better hotel with an extremely professional staff this is probably one of the worst experiences I've ever had in my entire life and it put two people out in the cold who did everything correctly what is in my opinion the policy of a company that doesn't want to be in the guest or service industry and just to let you know I will never recommend this hotel to anybody and if I get the chance I will tell everybody this may be their experience if they decide to try and check in at your hotel to try to book a...
Read moreFront desk employee by the name of Samantha was very unfriendly. My son who is autistic enjoys to swim so every year we get him a room for two nights for his birthday. My son is not very social and only socializes with family so we had five of his cousins come so that they could swim with him all 12 and under in age. The front desk employee made a big deal about the guest children swimming and stated only 5 people could swim, which was fine but the adults of the children could not oversee because then that would be too many people, at that time we were going to cancel but all the children were already in their swim wear, so we decided we will have two adults stay with the children and the rest meet back at my home. As the children were headed to the pool a house keeping staff by the name of Miguel stated that the pool is closed until 5pm which would be a hour later. It was my sons 12th birthday and we wanted it special for him. My son is autistic so it’s hard to have to explain to him he can’t no longer go swimming . The staff was very insensitive to my son’s condition. So we canceled our reservation and went to another hotel who had no problem with the guest. Double Tree was very welcoming and glad we choice their location for his special day. I have been celebrating my sons birthday in this manner for years and never once have I ever had a problem with the hotel or...

On the Monday after my Sunday checkout, I began to receive fraud alerts that this credit card was counterfeited and being used in fraudulent activity. -- The shower and bathroom sink water would back up and not drain down promptly. This means other guests likely compromised them and if shared with other guests is also unsanitary. -- Since the hotel only housekeeps after the 3rd night the hotel should stock guests rooms staying 2 nights minimum with extra toilet paper and garbage bags. A guest should not have to go to the front desk to ask for TP and garbage bags. -- The stay was reserved in an extended suite with a tiny kitchenette. If someone is reserving the extended suite there should be basic necessities available to use the kitchenette such as paper towels or hand towels, dish soap, sponge, and extra...
