UPDATE 9/20/23 Everything tonight was AMAZING!!!!! Audrianna and Alexis were absolutely the best! The service that I received tonight was truly incomparable, the food was tasty and prompt as always. And the overall vibe was truly one of a kind. I'm so happy I came in today. The service I received today absolutely over powered the not so good service I received before, I WILL BE BACK! Keep up the great work ladies! This bar wouldn't be what it is without y'all🫶🏽

This is my 2nd visit here, the first was a few months back and truthfully was an amazing experience! First I was shocked finding a place like this inside of a truck stop and then I was served by a very kind and attentive worker at the bar. The beer was cold the food was delicious and prompt and the environment was relaxing and comfortable. Tonight, I came back after much anticipation and while the beer is nice and cold and the food still good, with the exception of waffle fries that were not fresh. The service killed my experience today. No warm greeting. The person who made the drink that was ordered from the menu had no idea what the drink was and had to come back and ask us the name 3 times. And once he found the drink recipe card it took about another 10 mins for him to make the drink. Our food was sitting in the basket for a few minutes before anyone even notified it. The workers haven’t offered as much as a smile since I’ve been here and frankly both workers seem a bit lost. I’m very dissatisfied and disappointed tonight. As a former bar & grill manager I understand things happen and there’s good and bad days, unfortunately today was the latter. I will however look forward to my next visit at which point I’ll determine if I ever want to return again. If I receive the quality of service I received today, I can guarantee I’ll never return to this establishment again. However, I hope to have a much better experience. If a trucker died and went to truck stop heaven... This is where you'll go... But wait there's more! It's not just for truckers, it's also family friendly.

The food has a very modern spin on old classics. The menu isn't super large and confusing, it's simple, and straight to the point, but done with surgical precision. The Tailgater burger with cheddar and bacon jam (the jam name is misleading its not actual jam, it's a bacon, and onion mix *chefs kiss) is such a well made burger, it's an instant hit. The Ya Hey Der Brat is my personal favorite, and the Phil-up Cheesesteak is very popular, I'll be trying that next.

The atmosphere is very diverse, us truckers LOVE this place, we generally are in the bar area, but there is plenty of room for tables, there's sofas, high tops, loplw tops, great lighting for selfies, soft music and a juke box. 11 TV hang from the ceiling, I watched the NFL playoffs here, and it was great, amongst the decor.

The service... I've been a bar fly for over 30 years, from bar to bar, restaurant to restaurant, across 47 states... The service here is excellent. The Bartenders are quick, personable, friendly, and knowledgeable. To make a long story short, you're in good hands here. The owners also pop in, hang out, take feedback and improve small blind spots (not that there is many, but there's always room for improvements in any business).

Downstairs has clean showers, laundry, a nice selection of food, drinks, and desserts. You won't find many truck stops, or bars with this level of quality, convenience, and at such a low cost for a while. Highly...

As time goes on after Covid, I find that it is very hard to find competent staff that truly understand the meaning and the purpose of quality customer service. The new normal is poorly cooked food and incorrectly mixed drinks. Standards are non exhistent and attentivness is replaced by a sense that I am somehow interupting you with my drink/food request. The Blue Badger is a good representation of what upsets people when they come to a horible restaurant. Tonight my drink was so poorly mixed it was dificult to swallow. My food never arrived and trying to get the attention of a bartender was impossible. This restaurant/bar is located in a truck stop. The clientele that visit the establishment are truckers who are not looking for much. Most truckers can deal with a lot of incompetence during the work day. Showing up at a truck stop looking foreward to a nice meal and a cold drink is not a lot to ask for. When truckers have to deal with stupidity when trying to relax they will not return! Mark my word on that fact! This truck stop is nothing more than a gimmick! Nice new large truck stop with a fancy design. It sure is depressing that they staff it with such incompetent people.
