Upon the first night we arrived, the police were filling the parking lot for some problem with a guest. And they were also called the next day. It is a great site to see as I pull into my 5&6 year olds vacation villa.
There was an altercation on the last night of our stay and A lawsuit will be filed against Ocean Forest Villas and specifically the Security Officer that I will leave unnamed on a public review. We had our Motorcycle parked as close to the edge of the property as possible and had a guest pass in my second vehicle next to it, so it wouldn’t blow away if I sat it on the Motorcycle. It was absolutely fine for two day but when this Security Officer came on shift she had it towed. This I can get over (even though I feel it’s discriminatory to penalize those who drive a different vehicle). But when I asked WHO (as in what company) towed my Bike, I was met with such attitude and disrespect I was left flabbergasted. The security “officer” then broke the law and continued to harass me. REFUSING TO give me the information of the tow company. At this point, I asked for the police to be called. She kept insisting she “was the police” and called herself a Sheriff and threatened to arrest me, claiming she had the power of a sheriff. She pulled out a little piece of paper and started reading off of it, threatening to arrest me. I asked “what for? Asking where my bike is?” FIRST OF ALL, she is only SLED certified, which comes with some “power” but she is not a Sheriff and does not hold the same power as one. I asked again for the police to be called, she refused so I ended up calling myself.
All I asked for is the company of the tow yard. This security officer needs to be terminated immediately. I will he drafting my claim and submitting it with the court as well as contacting SLED about an “officer” going around calling herself a SHERIFF which is impersonating a police officer as well as the harassment.

Read moreUnit 105-B There is no mark on service as there was no service required. We rented a condo for the week. Be sure to put your parking pass on your car mirror! Our parking pass was attached to the refrigerator, and we didn't see it until the second morning when we went out to the car and had a ticket warning from property management under the windshield wiper threatening to haul my car off in four hours! No time stamp, though, so I'm not sure when they placed it there. I'll chalk that one up as my fault! I guess we should have been more observant about the postings on the refrigerator/message board. We were on the ground floor. The master shower (inside the fiberglass shower) floor was so weak that we were worried when standing on it! There were soft spots on the floor. They absolutely HAVE to do something (MAKE FLOOR REPAIRS) about this! The kitchen in our unit (an individually owned unit) was stocked with utensils better than any place we have ever rented! Pots, pans, skillets, can opener, coffee pot (not the K cup type though, Mr. Coffee type, which is cool), plates silverware, etc... Just a super supplied kitchen! Two bedrooms with three flat screen TVs. Local channels plus streaming. A hair drier in the main bathroom. A patio with "a view" of the ocean. Not the best, but we WERE on the ground floor, so there is that. All in all, it was a very good value. Just don't ignore the refrigerator messages. Oh yea. If you don't return the parking pass to the refrigerator, they threaten you with a $25.00 fine. I do hate threats from those that I pay my hard...
Read moreI have a spine injury and could have handled no elevators, until I realized that there were no wheel chair ramps to get to the second floor unit. Then, we lugged all of our belongings up 3 flights of steps. Just hard stools in the kitchen. You cannot hardly get into the bedroom closet to hang your clothes. There is not enough room and the beds are scooted up close to the closet wall. This condo will work you harder than most...from doing your own coin laundry, to getting just one set of the bare minimum of towels...the first day of your stay. Need more towels? Go pay to wash and dry them down the hall. We left 3 days early because quite frankly, it was more work than it was worth...We didn't mention it to the owners until after we left because...seriously, what are they going to do about the hard bench seating or the lack of ramps to carry our stuff upstairs? I doubt, much. That being said, I did write and let the owners know that we had left early. At that point, we never once asked for a dime back. We accepted that WE had made a mistake. Until the owner's sister accidentally copied me on two emails from her husband. The way she spoke about me was unbelievable. She called me a "complete idiot" to her brother and told him to stop communicating to me. Neither she or the owners had ever spoken to me, other than via email. This was a waste. I highly recommend you look further. We rented this unit on VRBO. Save your...
