I’m in Myrtle Beach for the weekend celebrating my son’s 16th Birthday left from having breakfast and wanted more coffee and found this place on Apple Maps. Pulled up went inside and was greeted instantly by a polite tall gentleman. If that had been the attitude of every employee, I wouldn’t be sharing this review. Generally in any establishment I believe it is customary practice to assist the customers in order of how they lined up (like the basics of kindergarten taught us all). Not the case in here today; after going through the pleasantries that generally escalate to one giving their order the woman assisting me looks at a woman beyond me and goes “oh you have a question? What’s your question?” and then heads off to cater to the other woman. I realized my money wasn’t welcomed in the establishment and then proceeded to the exit, where the server called out “oh no, I just thought she had a question and needed help” yeah, so did I the customer who was standing in front of you whom you had greeted until you seen someone who more resembled you. I would have loved to be able to say “oh wow, found this cute eclectic coffee shop in Myrtle Beach with awesome coffee (because seriously the motto “caffeinated joy” had me READY) with comparable customer service; unfortunately the customer service turned me off from the...
Read moreNot a fan of writing reviews but to be so disappointed by a place from seeing the existing reviews and photos to our experience merits this. A nice person greeted us but once we ordered there were lots of questions about what is actually being made. A bit confusing to be touted as vegan when there didn’t seem to be any fresh veg available. Our bagels were mixed up spread/bagel wise so we mentioned it to get it fixed (everything bagel and strawberry spread?) the young woman behind the counter started disagreeing saying we got what was on the ticket. I showed the ticket to explain the ticket was correct, the order just got switched around. No response after just looked at us and asked well do you want it fixed? I understand people can be short to wait staff but to automatically become combative when we politely brought it up is ridiculous. Garlic cream cheese is just garlic powder sprinkled on top of plain cream cheese. Strawberry cream cheese is just factory made sealed containers tossed in the box. Coffee is very very burnt with grounds in it. Just all around a disappointing experience. Maybe the reviews are mostly from opening and now they are overwhelmed but what we thought we were going into and what we experienced felt like false...
Read moreWe stopped here for the first time otw out of town. The service and staff were so lovely! They made sure our doggo had fresh water and even brought him a pup cup! Some of the servers also came out to meet him and show him some love which was so sweet. My partner and I ordered the wild child and tiramisu cold brew (both tasty!) and the BEC Asiago bagel sandwich. The cold brew did taste like iced coffee instead of cold brew but I’m not a big coffee drinker so I didn’t mind. The bagels had an odd texture, very dense, almost tough, and chewy. The Asiago flavor was nice and love that they use real cheddar and the baked eggs were nice and fluffy. I didn’t love that they used precooked bacon - always rubbery and unpleasant. I saw in another review that they bake their eggs since they don’t have a griddle. Baking real bacon as well could really elevate their sandwich offerings. Sourcing bagels locally or from an alternative vendor could be great too. All in all, we would definitely return for good coffee and even...
