I absolutely love this place very clean great breakfast some of the staff is very friendly and kind but I didn't care too much about the front desk attendant that work the shift yesterday from 3 to 11 named Chianne ! She was very poor and unprofessional about showing common customer etiquacy !! I felt if she knew she had to work she should know how to come to work in a professional manner and show it as well to customers!! I am a Hilton honor member silver status and I expect to be treated in such manner. I tried talking to her and smiling and she sat there and got even more rude. Looking as if she didn't want to be bothered!! BAD NEWS and CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! She should be very careful on how she treats especially customers in line of business such as this but nevertheless , don't come to work if you don't feel like being professional. Then I had experience after staying there one night and then renews two more nights I asked if they give a customer courtesy free room upgrade and I was turned down as a Hilton Honors member and was told that I had to pay the $10 upgrade even though the hotel was not booked to its capacity I felt some type of way about that as well I spoke with the hotel manager named Robin thinking that I was going to get a step further and good great customer service and was shot down heartless over the phone by her as well and she didn't care if I was a silver member or not I thought that was very poor customer service as well that I received over the phone and I was looking the additional two nights but she quickly cleaned it up Once I arrived at the hotel and and Robin asked me how was I doing and I told her of course I could have been a lot happier and better if I would have gotten great customer service with the free courtesy room upgrade after paying for three nights in a row stay but nevertheless Robin end up giving me the upgrade after I had to pay for it still any other Hotel I never experienced that type of treatment before they gave me an upgrade instantly without question especially when the hotel was already benefiting and making money off me by staying there. But it was an experience and very odd one that hopefully I would not experience again if I choose to stay in the future the other than that I slept great in the room the place was nice and quiet just two people that I encountered have to be a little bit better and more professional and more friendlier great customer service is everything and they need more...
Read moreBooked two rooms both Kings. Was not given kings. I had already digitally checked in online earlier that day but stopped by the FD to pick up physical keys for the rooms. The night lady with arm tattoos was on the phone with another guest and kept making facing like she was annoyed with the guest on the line. One she got off the phone she asked me what I needed I needed help with. I asked for the physical keys to the room, she asked for my ID knowing I had digital keys and I came in the hotel using my digital keys. I had to run out to get my ID. I came back to get 4 water bottles since I am a diamond member, I asked for cold she gave me warm bottles and said that she just put them in the fridge so they might not be cold. there was a fridge in the treatshop not 2 feet away from the front desk, she could have gotten them out of there. The side entrance door of the hotel was unsecured all night, even though I closed it several times and someone kept leaving it open with a door mat. There were people across from my room that were fighting in the hallway and I didnt see the front desk girl come to stop anything. These rooms were not bu 30 feet from the front desk, I know for a fact she was able to hear all of that fighting. Also these people kept going in and out of their rooms all night. Room was ok, not enought...
Read moreI am revising my review to include the fantastic experience I had with the staff of this hotel. My initial booking was through a spammy website that made me think it was the Hampton website which it was not. I had to cancel that reservation and re book directly through Hilton. It was difficult but the front desk ladies at the Naperville Hampton went above and beyond to help me so kudos to the staff. Now for the bad. I have stayed in many Hampton Inn’s. Overall they are pretty nice. This place was a dump! Building looked like it might collapse. I am shocked that Hilton would allow a place that looks like this in a market like Naperville. Total branding fail! Major cracks in exterior walls. Many patched, poorly painted with non matching paint and cracking again. The inside felt like 1985 which was fine then because it was new but now just feels and looks 40 years gross. The room was ok but also felt gross. The whole place needs to be scraped and rebuilt. I would gladly pay more for something decent. Update… a neighbor told me the hotel is for sale. If that’s true Hilton needs to pull the Hampton sign and build a nice new Hampton in Naperville. I have also heard from some of my corporate sources that the Honors travelers visiting their local office in Naperville won’t book there because they think...
