Hotel Management, I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with my second stay at your hotel. Unfortunately, my experiences have been marred by significant issues. During my first visit, I encountered difficulties locating luggage carts. I did not report the issue at the time, hoping it was an isolated incident. However, upon my return, I faced the same problem. Despite waiting for an hour, my family and I had to transport our luggage upstairs ourselves. Furthermore, the room we booked online did not match the description. We were allocated a connected room, which was not advertised on your website. None of the pictures showed the connecting door, and we did not request this type of accommodation. My wife felt uneasy and insecure, prompting us to barricade the connecting door with chairs. Regrettably, the hotel did not have an alternative room available. I want to emphasize that the front desk staff tried their best to assist us. However, I believe the issues stem from a lack of effective management and oversight. The absence of a system to ensure sufficient luggage carts are available is alarming. It suggests a lack of attention to detail and a disregard for guests' needs. Also, there should be in room safes and complimentary breakfast offered at all of your hotels; not just a select few. At almost $200/ night these items should be a set standard. Due to these experiences, we will think twice before returning to your hotel. While we do not want our negative encounters to deter others, we hope that you will take our feedback seriously and implement necessary improvements.

This does not feel like a 4 star hotel. I booked an executive suite via a travel site and I was given a lower quality room. They said the travel site messed up, which is always possible. The concierge King room was just basic. Felt cramped. There's a fridge, which is good, although it needs defrosting. Very little room to store anything, no drawers or closet. Only basic amenities, no bath robe either. Shower was stuck on very hot water, hard to adjust. The bed was ok. They charge about 35 in taxes per night, 20 for parking, another 20 for things like internet, coffee in the room, and supposedly 2 water bottles. There was no water at all. The coffee setup was the most basic and cheap. No hotels charge for coffee these days and most others also offer free Internet. So this fee is a rip off. Parking registration is done on phone and basically doesn't work. Staff looks bored and barely willing to help with anything. Overall this hotel really is not worth the money. The one thing it has going for it is the restaurant on premises. Quite unimpressed after the one night stay.

Absolute horror story. We checked in around 10:00pm and enjoyed a nice meal at the restaurant downstairs. Tired from a long drive, we went to our room to take a shower and get some rest. We got into the bed, only to pull the sheets up and see it covered in black spots. I’m not sure if it was mold or something else, it nonetheless left us itchy and feeling gross. We immediately packed our things, went downstairs and checked out. We had to drive around Nashville for an hour or so until we could find another place to stay for the night. Though they did refund us, naturally the refund won’t complete for 3 days, which left us with significantly less funds to enjoy ourselves on vacation. I also feel like a simple refund isn’t exactly sufficient to account for the financial inconvenience, or the fact that we had to drive around Nashville in the middle of the night without a place to stay. I tried to reach out directly to the staff to address my concerns but never heard back which is unfortunate. I wanted to give this place more opportunity since the staff was incredibly professional and courteous. Below is what I sent that includes the issues I ran into:||"I wanted to reach out to you to discuss our experience during our stay March 10-12. I apologize in the delay in my email but I just found your card. ||I have yet to give any other review because I wanted to ensure you were made aware internally, first. ||We are locals and just wanted a simple staycation with an indoor pool. We chose Sonesta because the pool itself looked incredibly inviting (indoor pools can look awfully sketch) not to mention it was described as heated. Our first night, it was somewhat cool but tolerable. Throughout the entire next day, however, it stayed quite cool. My girl and her friend who came to visit were literally shivering. We asked the front desk (this was via phone call) to adjust it. They stated a ticket would be made and an engineer would get right on it. We waited a few hours and tried again…no change. We visited the front desk this time and they saw that no ticket had been made originally and assured me they would get it handled. We waited a few more hours, went back down and even though there was another young lady in the pool, there was no significant change; she herself was not enjoying her swim as it was chilly. Needless to say we were all very disappointed in that aspect because the entire purpose of this stay was to utilize the pool. ||Our room was comfortable but quite dusty. The previous occupants had obviously dabbled in glitter as it was all over the floor and perhaps a blue wig as long stands of it were all over the bathroom and in the shower. I found a writing pad under my pillow which leads me to think the sheets weren’t changed? ||I am a pretty laid back person and this was my first “vacation” in two years so I was not about to make a fuss about stuff. Just made the best of it. We felt comfortable in the room, although someone tried to enter our room on the first night. Chalked that up to confusion. The second night, the new occupants next door tried to open the interior door. Chalked that up to a child exploring. ||Room service was good. Breakfast was delicious. The staff that we encountered were incredibly professional and friendly and helpful. The facility itself is lovely. I would be happy to recommend it to travelers as well as locals but I would like to have my concerns addressed first. ||Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you...

This was my very first time visiting Nashville. I was visiting a friend. I checked in on 9/13/25. About 10:30am on 9/14, my birthday, I was informed by my friend that my car, along with several other vehicles, had been broken into. My driver window was completely busted out. Now, since we have to pay to park, my vehicle was registered in my name so I am trying to understand why myself or other guests were not informed that this had happened. Instead, trash bags were just taped to our vehicles and we had to find out when it was time to leave. Since this happened, we were told that we did not have to checkout. Myself and others were waiting for the police who never showed. My friend and I had went to grab some food only to come back and find out that we were locked out of the room. Now I was also told that this was not the first time that this has happened at this hotel. For the price of the room and for paying to park as a registered guest, I am confused as to why cameras have not been installed on every inch of the parking lot. This will continue to happen if something isn't done about it because it is very likely that the same people keep doing it because they know they will never get caught. I picked this hotel because my guest was worried about someone stealing my car, and it seemed like a great area, and while that didn't happen, it still got broken into and I had to drive 3 hours home without a window. I am absolutely disgusted that something isn't being done to prevent this. How many times does it have to happen before someone takes accountability and actions to make sure that it doesn't happen again? I am very disappointed in how my visit turned out and this by far was the worst birthday ever. I will not be back to this hotel in the future.

Dear Matthew, while I do appreciate your response, it doesn't take away the fact that I paid good money for a stay at this hotel and even had to pay to park there. This had happened at the hotel quite a bit from what I am hearing and something needs to be done about it. I was told it just happened as early as last week! For the price of the hotel and the parking, there is no reason that something can't be done to try and prevent it from happening again. If people are going to be expected to pay that price, they should feel that their property will be safe...

I dont know what stars misaligned or bad travel vibes we got, but this hotel stay was not good. Prior to booking, I checked reviews and everything so I had high hopes for Sonesta. It didn't go well. Upon getting to our room, I pulled back the sheets to find that they obviously hadn't been changed. There were fluid marks and a butt print on the sheets. I picked up the phone to call the front desk. The phone didn't work! I called from my cell and finally connected. They said they'd bring some new bedding up shortly. After a while my husband said he needed to go back to the car and would mention the sheets to the desk in his way through. He came back, still no sheets. This was approaching 10:30 PM. We'd been driving all day and wanted to rest and sleep. Sheets finally arrived and we changed them. During a brief sit down, hubs was looking around and noticed something behind the television. It was a baggie of pot and half a blunt! We took it to the front desk for disposal so it wouldn't be blamed on us. They acted like it was a regular occurrence for guests to find drug stashes from former guests. During our stop at the front desk, we were informed that the water to the entire hotel was being shut off due to a leak. Too bad that didn't explain the lack of cleaning in the toilet that I noticed when we arrived. Obvious 'skid marks' in the bowl. So gross. The water came back on a few hours later. We were comped a buffet breakfast. I'm thankful we weren't charged because it was $20 per person for continental style in their restaurant. I decided to pick up coffee at Starbucks before getting back on the road. The staff there were unable to make a basic drink for the patron ahead of me. So I opted for a grossly overpriced canned coffee instead of tempting fate and asking them to make a cold brew with cream. Parking was an additional charge through a very weird system. We were glad to check out in the morning. This was not a great stay. Our expectations for hotels are pretty basic: clean rooms, good beds. At least one of those things was checked off. The beds were fairly comfortable. The hotel is very nicely designed and the lobby is beautiful. Too bad that commitment to detail isn't upheld into guest rooms and their...
