Travelled with my best friend for a concert at the Bridgestone Arena. Sonder: The Chorus Is about 10 minutes by Uber to the Bridgestone, and is also directly across the road from Germantown and its pubs, dining, and shopping. There’s a grocery store literally across the road in a different direction, too, which is so great when you stay at a place with a little kitchen like the Chorus has. ||The bed was comfy, the sofa bed was comfy, the balcony is tiny but it’s still a balcony that you can sit on. It would’ve been nice to have an oven to bake a pizza in as well as a microwave and 2-burner cooktop, but we made do with sandwiches and microwaveable foods. Also, the only lighting in the unit we stayed in – 319 – is can lights overhead or a single decorator-type light with an Edison bulb on the desk. No wall lamp or table lamp to read by (and speaking of tables, there’s a desk but that’s it besides a teeny tiny little marble table large enough for maybe a phone to rest on). But, as we told ourselves, we weren’t moving in and it was fine for our short stay. The ambiance and superb location outweighed any small misses. We didn’t notice any traffic noise, either, but there probably was some. Go in with reasonable expectations and understand that you’re in a huge city and you’ll be okay. ||The bathroom is fine and the overhead rain shower is great if you want to wash your hair every night (or you can stand to the side a little). The water pressure is really nice. One thing that I really liked is that there was no bathtub, and that means there’s a great chance that families won’t be staying there, or at least families with little shriekers won’t be, and that really ups the chances that you’ll get a good night’s sleep. ||Check-in was easy: a door code is sent to you and there’s also a mobile key you can use on your phone to open the door. Check-out was also flawless. Sonder is really on the ball with their notifications and communication. ||We had a great problem-free stay, and the next time we go to Nashville we’ll be booking Sonder: The Chorus again if...
Read moreWe loved the location. An Uber driver told us to be careful at night, but we felt pretty safe when walking around during the day and into the evening. We didn’t walk around the area at night. It was close to Broadway (few min Uber/Lyft ride) but also far enough away to escape the crazy of downtown. There are excellent dining options across the major road way in Germantown and we never needed a reservation to eat at those spots and loved every meal. The room was not bad, but had some flaws. Upon check in I had killed at least 5 little flies, not sure if they came in from the patio. The room wasn’t spotless and the cleaning could have been better (floor didn’t appear to be swept well, carpet didn’t appear to be vacuumed). The same trash we saw in the main lobby left out on tables was still there days later. The curtain rod above the patio was broken, but was managing to still do its job. The alarm in the main lobby was going off for hours one day and I messaged the chat to let them know and it was taken care of promptly after they were notified. Room was fully stocked with plates, cups, silverwear, cooking supplies and dish cleaning supplies. We would stay again. There is a closet with hangers available (plenty for 3 of us) but there are no dressers or clothing drawers to put clothes away. The pull out wasn’t the most comfortable. Having the bed against a wall did make it more difficult for whoever was sleeping wall side with getting in...
Read moreDO NOT STAY HERE! (The rooms smell and have ants in them)
We stayed in Nashville for 4 days and our trip was seriously ruined by this place.
First of all our room smelt so bad there was obviously something wrong with the drains because it smelt like a sewer in there (I’m not even being over dramatic even one of the workers agreed with me). Asif that wasn’t bad enough the room also had ants. I messaged someone about this and all that could be done was spray some air freshener…
I then enquired about switching to another room to be told that wouldn’t be possible as all the rooms were full (I checked online however and they still had availability) and after telling the worker this she finally agreed to give us another room, you’d think this would be then end of our problems but it wasn’t….
I was told our new room would be available from 2pm the next day and when 2pm came around it wasn’t, I had to message them to ask what my new door code would be only for it to take them another hour to get back to me and when they did, the code didn’t even work so we were stuck outside.
This was finally fixed but only for our new rooms tv to not work and this room ALSO had ants it it (even more than the original room we had)
This is the WORST experience I’ve ever had with accommodation we only had 4 days in Nashville and this ordeal ruined 2 of those days. I need a refund it was disgusting.
