TL;DR: probably 4 to 4.5 stars on normal day because of the quality of food and location, but only gets a 3 today for slow and spotty service. Wife and I just moved to Germantown and figured we'd try to grab some grub from a local place we could walk to. The atmosphere was like most other bars you've ever been to, with a variety of clientele. It's seat yourself, so we grabbed a table outside and waited. And waited. And waited. Turns out someone called in sick, so our poor waitress was working the relatively busy place all by herself. Didn't catch her name, but she was super nice and apologetic the whole time, so it didn't affect her tip in least (but it does affect the rating). We started off with a Tennessee mule (made with grapefruit vodka; it was delicious and I don't like grapefruit) for my wife and an alt old fashioned for me (made with rum and ended up being way too sweet). Again, it took forever to get the drinks because of the single waitress but also because the bartender was apparently new as well. The food took a while to get to us and they had to remake my wife's burger because they put tomatoes on there and she's very allergic, but once it came out, boy was it good. I got the Nashville hot burger (special rub, pickles, Pico, pepper jack, and a big ol' jalapeño on top) and my wife got the GTP burger (fried egg, cheddar, and swiss). Both were mouthwatering delicious with great flavors that complemented each other well. I particularly liked the homemade pickles on mine; nice crunch with a great sour flavor. The house fries that come on the side were also truly fantastic. The side Caesar salad my wife got was okay, just drenched in dressing, as salads are wont to be when you don't order the dressing on the side. Overall, we'll probably come back and give them another chance because the burgers really were that good and it's so close to our apartment.

I wanted to check this place out to see where the famous wings rank compared to other resturants in Nashville. I will say the wings are impressive indeed. Crispy and tender. The Nashville hot was a perfect amount of heat in my opinion, not a true hot like 400 degrees hot chicken or even reds 615 but solid. Garlic parm wings were some of the best we have ever had. So why 3 stars? The kitchen sent out an overly salted pretzels bite app and we asked them to remake it without salt and they sent it out with salt again. The servers was honest he said that he told them and they didn't listen. I couldn't recomend this resturant to anyone with allergies or aversions or dietary restrictions for fear that this kitchen may actually kill you. The cook cane out of the kitchen to stare us down before sending out the app covered in salt again. I wont be back. My poor pregnant wife is unable to eat these overly salted pretzels and we were made to pay anyway. Very unfortunate. Great wings tho.

I LOVE LOVE LOVEEE Germantown Pub. I live in Antioch so I don’t get to go as often as I would like. Which is probably a good thing because I would be there everyday if I lived closer. I went this past weekend to watch the game with some friends. Normally it’s packed on the weekends and hard to find a seat. They have outdoor seating and maybe because it’s summer time more people sat outside than inside. We had no problem with finding enough room for the 5 of us. My boyfriend and I decided to spilt an order of the catfish nuggets and fries. It was so good to him that he ended up ordering the same thing to go lol. The food and service was great like always. The only complaint that I have about this restaurant is the parking. The actual parking lot is very small. We had to park at the church next door so keep that in mind when going. Other than that this is definitely one of my favorite restaurants to go in Nashville!

Original Post: So I've eaten here before and enjoyed the food but I was super excited to see on a HBO Max documentary that they added Vegan food only to find out it was only for the show and their are no vegan options. I was super excited for the possibilities as my wife is vegan and their aren't any vegan bar options to watch sports. But I'm truly disappointed. Good food and service just would like options for my wife and our friends.

Response to Reply: I totally agree that it is important to speak the truth and to give an honest review. I also believe it is important to ensure your staff is fully prepared to answer questions when asked. I posted my review after speaking to one of your waitress who advised me that your menu recently changed and her exact words were "we don't have vegan options". I asked about the show and she advised she was unaware (which makes sense based off you advising it was 2 years ago when it was filmed) but reiterated that you all didn't have vegan options because of your new menu. I do hope you do add vegan options that are not just a salad or black bean burger but please train your staff instead of thinking that someone is just posting a review to post. I feel I was fair because I've had a good experience before at your restaurant I was just disappointed in the lack of options compared to what was seen in the...

The service I received was very poor and rude. I walked to this bar after reading on multiple updated sites, including the bar's website, that they had Sunday happy hour. Once I arrived at the bar, I asked the bartender what their happy hour deals were. She told me they did not have happy hour on the weekend. I asked them for a menu to see the drink options. After looking it over, I asked for the cider, which was listed on tap. She told me they did not have a cider on tap, even though it was listed. I then ordered a Blue Moon. She poured the beer and just before handing it to me asked to see my ID. I handed her my ID with my papers as that is what is issued in my state until the actual ID arrives. This is a legal document. She looked it over and said she would have to ask the manager. The manager also looked it over and then told me they could not take it. I told her it was a legal document. She told me she knew this, but it was just the bar policy. Nowhere else in Nashville did I encounter any issue with this. So, as I remained at the bar another 10 minutes looking up other places to go, I was never once asked if I would like a non-alcoholic drink or even food. I was not acknowledged at all.

Very disappointing treatment. I do not...
