Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

This place seriously needs new management. I don't understand it. Have visited a number of times because on the occasion that I want some fried chicken, I'm usually closest to this location. Undoubtedly, I end up in a long line. I. Do. Not. Get. It. 1.) Their lobby is never open, so it's not like they have to manage two lines. 2.) All they serve is chicken, shrimp, and sides, and the shrimp is fried the same way the chicken is. They don't have a diverse menu, so how hard is it to prepare and serve this food? It's ridiculous. I think what annoys me the most is that you can't get out of the line. Once you're in the line, you're in it because there's no way to pull out unless you drive over a very large curb which no one is going to do. You are trapped between concrete. They really need to get some new management and hire enough people or get better supervision over the people who are there working. People go through drive-through because they generally want to quickly pick up food and go on to the next thing that they have to do. No one wants to sit in a fast food line for 20 or 30 minutes....

WALKED IN AND THERE WAS A LINE DUE TO DRIVE THROUGH CLOSED. NO PROBLEM I WENT IN THERE WAS A LINE YOUNG LADY TOOK EVERYONES ORDER AND HER AND A GENTLEMEN WERE TRYING TO GET ORDERS OUT THEN TWO GUYS WALKED IN AND ASKED FOR MANAGER SHE CAME OUT AND TOOK THEIR ORDER TURNED RIGHT AROUND PREPARED THEIR ORDER AND THEY ARE OUT WHILE THE CUSTOMERS THAT PAID FULL PRICE FOR THEIR ORDERS ARE STILL WAITING THEN A MAN WALKED IN WITH A FIVE DOLLAR BILL AND ORDERED HE RECIEVED A WHOLE MEAL IM NOT DUMB FIVE DOLLARS CANT GET YOU A MEAL OFF YOUR MENU AND SHE DID THE EXACT SAME THING SHE FIXED HIS AND HE IS GONE . AFTER THAT SHE GOES OUT AND TALKES TO THEM WHILE SHE SMOKES A CIGARETTE. WE ARE STILL WAITING FOR FOOD. SHE COMES IN I ASK HOW CAN WE GET THE SERVICE THEY RECIEVED FROM YOU SHE ASKED THE WORKER THAT ARE WORKING HARD FOR THE CUSTOMERS HOW LING IS HER ORDE RGOING TO TAKE. I INFORMED HER NO I ASKED YOU. CAN WE GET THE SERVICE THOSE GUYS RECIEVED SHE JUST WALKED STRAIGHT TO THE BACK SYILL DIDNT HELP THE STAFF. NOT HOW A MANAGER SHOULD TREAT STAFF...

Visited the location on Jefferson Street in Nashville, TN 4/25/2023 around 5:49 p.m. to pick up dinner for 2 on my way home. The drive through menu was completely dark so i drove to the window to order and was informed that the drive through was open and i would have to drive back through and get in line to give my order.They had no dark me. I wanted to changed the pieces in the second box to 2 wings instead of a breast and a wing and was told it has to be given the way it comes, which made no sense. I have done this on other orders at this location several times before. Gave her my money and change due was $4.00 which i was told they had no more $1.00 bills and she had $3.00 worth of quarters. She was waiting to see if i would take the quarters or not. What else was I going to do? So she gave me a $1.00 bill and $3.00 worth of quarters. I have never had service this bad before.
