El Bochito restaurant has a very vibrant atmosphere with its lucha Libre Theme. Whenever I try a new mexican restaurant, I always go with the simple basic menu items to see the quality and execution of its ingredients. I ordered a quesillo quesadilla and sopes. Let's start with the quesadilla. The masa dough was made from scratch, so props for that effort. But the balance was way off . The amount of cheese was not enough to fill the torilla, and it was just overwhelmed with thick chopped up lettuce. The sopes were just too soggy. 2 sopes were packed in a small to-go container stacked on top of each other. The sope fell apart when I tried to take it out of the container. I took a bite, and it just tasted like a wet torilla with lettuce and beans. I had to throw it away. The prices are somewhat higher compared to other mexican restaurants. I would've expected a better quantity in their food to compensate for the prices. I paid 30$ for one quesadilla and 3 sopes that were not edible. I hope they improve the quality to meet the prices....
Read morePleasant experience overall. The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, making it a great spot for a casual meal. Decor is amazing "frida as a luchador" love it!!
Staff was friendly, and attentive. It’s clear that customer service is a priority here, and it really enhances the dining experience.
As for the food, while I found it to be decent, it didn’t quite exceed my expectations. The flavors were good, and there were plenty of classic Mexican dishes to choose from, but I felt some dishes could use a little more seasoning or flair. That said, the presentation was appealing, and it’s clear that they take pride in their offerings.
Overall, El Bochito is a lovely place to enjoy a meal, especially if you’re looking for a friendly atmosphere and a taste of Mexican cuisine. I appreciated the service and ambiance, and I would definitely consider returning to try more dishes and see how they compare. If you’re in the area, it’s...
Read moreVery pretty decor and murals. Very Instagram picture worthy. The music created a good vibe. Service was fast. The waitresses are nice and attentive and the place was full when we went. The ingredients are all fresh. The guacamole must of been made a minute before being sent to our table cause it looked and tasted fresh. The agua frescas are really good. My daughters eyes lit up when she tried the Jamaica (hibiscus 🌺), my husband enjoyed the Tamarindo and I had the horchata. My kids ate the Tostadas without protest. We had huaraches. The meat options we went with were very flavorful - carnitas and bistec. For a family of 5 we didn't spend that much. Had to ask my husband if the check was right 😆. Would definitely return with my family or come...
