Check in was relatively painless and came with some free Whoopi Pies! Very clean and although the labyrinth like roads can make the first time in to your room a challenge, all the roads came up on the GPS correctly. When staying in a room for over 5 days you come up with the good and bad. As a resort it is great for family fun with both indoor and outdoor pools, events on the grounds (I was unable to visit the mermaids or minions) and towels provided for you. The room was clean and the beds had adequate sheets and blankets. The king sized bed was firm but comfortable and easy to fall asleep on. There was a pull out bed in the living room but I didn't have a need to test it. There were tvs in all the bedrooms and in the living room. Appliances all worked and although there was no K-Cup compatible brewer, it would be nice to know which filter to take for the maker (it's the traditional basket and not the conical kind). Pots and cooking utensils were minimal but enough forks and spoons for a family. Dishwasher and washer were distinctly loud, but usage was fine. Air conditioning worked well and the rooms were cool when we entered, especially since it was a week in the 90s! Overall a good stay with some small items to mention. First is the sound proofing in the rooms. I've stayed in other rooms from Hyatt, but I could hear everything really well. The couple with their child in the room next to us were very quiet, which was fortunate. There were several light switches which didn't seem to do anything and lights in kitchen ceiling were either all on or all off, thankfully there were some lights under the cupboards that were controlled separately. Another thing was no throw pillows on the couch. Not a deal breaker, but I've become accustomed to for more comfortable positioning on sofas. Being on the second floor the back balcony had no awning so during the rains every night it was just someplace to avoid. The tvs all had Samsung TV on them so there was some stuttering from switching to that and regular cable. I will say that it was ideally located so that grocery stores, restaurants, shops and the beach were easily accessible. Overall, good stay, lots of sleeping room and room to mingle as well as enough counter space to make your meals. The second toilet food experience a clog, but there was a plunger provided (along with a vacuum) for guest use. Recommended for a good stay with good staff, everyone we encountered was friendly and willing to help.

We love vacationing at Seawatch even with the timeshare harassing calls. The resort is close to everything, clean, quiet and right on the beach. This year, we had another opportunity to spend Christmas here and family came as well. The check-in process was a breeze, the unit was ready when we arrived and we had an awesome view. All the staff were extremely friendly. Meals at Captain Cove's was amazing and we had a chance to meet the Head Chef Marvin. He was friendly and so love what he does. His omelets are to die for. All of his food was great! Did not get any wings since they were sold out. Seawatch offered daily activities, peace, and calm - just what I needed and wanted. Parking was a breeze and available. There's a game room on-site, a fitness center, and more. The Tiki Bar was closed as well as some of the pools. We stayed in the South Tower on the 15th floor - what a view! The only downside is the timeshare harassing calls even after you say no, no, and no (3 times), they keep on asking. I do understand they have a job to do but no is no-stop asking. Owner updates every time you take a trip to find out, you learn nothing new but they try to get you to buy something. Their check-in card states "This vacation is all about you. Each day you're here is a chance to escape the ordinary." Do they know what this means? We are escaping from meetings, stress, etc. and just want peace, no meetings, relaxation, etc. The Master bedroom was nice except the closet was very small. There was no tub in the master but an overly extended shower that would hold 3 or 4 people. The bathroom was also tight in master. The furniture was very very comfortable for a change.

Things started out fine with Gina. She told me to let her know when I went to get my room assigned to me because she was going to show me the manager so I could speak to them. Check-in was at 4:00. We arrived to the resort at 3:15. There was no room ready for us until 4:45. When I told Gina someone called and we were able to check in, she was reluctant to enter the building to show me who the manager was. She said there were many people who had to wait to get a room. To make up for it, she told me we would receive extra “swag and towels and stuff”at the presentation. She said she would personally take care of us. She wasn’t even at the presentation the next day to give us anything.

When we did attend the sales presentation the day after check-in, we told Aiden Brock and Trish, I believe was her name, NUMEROUS times we DID NOT want to add any new debt. We told them we DID NOT want another Wyndham credit card. We had also told them both more than once that we had just attended a sales presentation 3 weeks prior while at another resort. Gina told us this meeting would only last an hour because we had attended a sales presentation 3 weeks prior. We were in the meeting for over two and a half hours. We were told by Trish that Aiden was checking to make sure our profile was up to date when she walked away to go look at her computer after she had asked me to write down a message to tell corporate we wanted to reopen the option to restructure our account. When Aiden asked for our social security numbers, we asked again what he was doing. He told us he was updating our profiles so we would get more points per stay with Wyndham. Nothing was said about running our credit and applying for TWO more credit cards, one in my name and one in my husband’s name. We checked our email the day after the presentation, and we both had emails where cards had been approved and were being mailed to us. I went immediately to the Concierge window and told the lady I wanted to speak to a manager. A man came out and spoke to me. He took my name, my husband’s name, and my cell phone number after hearing what happened. I don’t remember his name because I was too upset. He told me he would look into it and I would get a call or text by 3:00. It is now over 24 hours later, and I have still heard nothing! He told me he’s sorry that happened and he’s sorry they didn’t tell me what they did, but running our credit and applying for cards is what they were doing to restructure our account. That is not what was said to us. Like I said earlier, we made it clear we did not want more debt or more credit cards. Clearly it’s all about money and commission with these people!

Half of the resort pools and lazy rivers were closed for an entire day because we were told the pH balance was off due to the previous day’s rain. However, we didn’t see anyone trying to shock the water or do anything to fix the problem. It’s August! At least make it look like people are working to fix the issue since we all pay maintenance fees to keep these resorts up and running…or so we are told.

We were on vacation with extended family. Initially we were excited and pleased with our accommodations, as everything appeared to be (tidy) fine. We arrived Monday evening, able to enjoy the beautiful view of the beach and activities near the pool. Tuesday evening my husband noticed a small insect crawling from the couch, but didn't think much of it... until seeing several crawling underneath the cushions of the couch and all over one of the queen beds where my granddaughter slept. BED BUGS!! We notified the front desk, to Initially being not believed, until photos and video were shown by my husband. Then we were Initially given 2 option to relocate to immediately have 1 option taken away because it apparently wasn't equal to the accommodations that we reserved...? Why this mattered is still unclear to me, since MY FAMILY WAS BEING INCONVENIENCED BY THE INFESTATION OF BED BUGS!! And the clerk actually took the time to pick and choose to place us for the remainder of OUR VACATION! Making his focus to not UPGRADE OUR ACCOMMODATIONS BEYOND THE NEXT TIER!!?? Smh... We're overwhelmed with the stress and fear of having slept in a room infested with BED BUGS, having had ALL OF OUR PERSONAL BELONGINGS EXPOSED! Standing in a lobby with an 11 year old at midnight!!??? Being spoken to with disregard that we're THE VICTIMS!! PAYING CUSTOMERS!!?? We were moved to another room, VERY DATED, in need of repairs! However minus the BED BUGS! We were instructed to leave all of our belongings (clothes) towels luggage... only having the clothes on our backs. Unable to give us a time that we could possibly have our belongings back, we were at the mercy of the Wyndham engineering staff. Who sarcastically offered to come by and pick up the clothes that we were wearing...? After all this chaos my husband and I still attended Wyndham timeshare meeting with my in-laws, and Yes I definitely made mention of why I was having a horrible, stressful morning! Yet 2 hours later we were still being UNSUCCESSFULLY Harassed about becoming owners 🙄!!??? I politely explained that I was not interested in buying into anything, and that having my belongings were the only important factor in the remainder of our stay. We received our belongings and 4 $25 COMPLIMENTARY GIFT CARDS... ??? My family and I have made it home safely and I have received a call and text about the timeshare. I have yet to receive a call from management concerning the horrific experience we went through with the BED BUGS! Or the fact that we have still been INCONVENIENCED with having to redo all of our laundry 🙄! The moral of this story is HELL NO! WE DO NOT WANT TO INVEST IN BED BUGS WYNDHAM RESORT! 😒 UPON MANAGEMENT RESPONDING, PLEASE DO NOT CALL, THANKS...
