This is a very large park that's been around for a long time, over 50 years I believe. Part of the park contains permanent manufactured homes as well as some park models that are permanent and for rent. I believe you can also rent an RV? Everyone we met that was associated with the park were friendly and helpful. There are several swimming pools, one of which is heated. The camp store is large and well stocked including beer, wine, groceries, RV related supplies, and more. Next to it is the largest campground laundry that we have ever seen. There is also a very cool arcade, but sadly it closed before my wife had a chance to shellac me in ski ball. Located within the park is a restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch. The food is good and the biscuits are baked fresh every day. There's also a coffee wagon on site in case you need an emergency latte!

Close by is a Walmart and several other stores within walking distance or a very short bike ride. There are bike paths on all of the major roads so you can ride for miles without having to tangle with vehicle traffic, especially on US17.

We stayed at Myrtle Beach Travel Park the last week of September and the first week of October in 2023. This is considered "out of season." We stayed there with a class A RV and a car. Our site was maybe 50 yards or so from the beach, easily within walking distance. Wifi coverage and cell phone coverage were excellent. There is cable TV but the off-air reception was also more than adequate for our needs. The RV rental sites are small and close to each other but they do include a picnic table with a covered roof. I suspect that in season when the park is really packed, privacy and peace and quiet may be an issue? That's an opinion, not based on actual experience. Most of the roads are sand, and the sites are also sand, not asphalt or concrete. If you are bugged by the idea of dragging sand into your rig constantly, you might want to consider another park. Sand is the price you pay for being close to the beach.

The park prides itself on being a "quiet" park, and for the most part that is true. It was biker week when we were there and the bike owners were not allowed to bring their motorcycles into the park. I broke the rules one night by riding my bicycle after dark while leading some friends from our site to the entrance. They wouldn't have made it on their own!

The only problem we had during our two week stay was barking dogs, or more correctly, inconsiderate and incompetent dog owners who don't train and manage their animals in a reponsible manner. We had small dogs all around us, ankle biters, who liked to yap. On our second night there we had to call security because the dog owners behind us allowed their dogs to bark continuously while they stood and talked to some folks who were passing by. Several nights later we had a problem with the dog owners in front of us who did the same thing. That dog was put inside the RV and kept barking on and off during our entire stay. On our left was an ankle biter who yapped occasionally but wasn't a huge problem. Two sites up from there was a dog put out into a cage and left to bark on and off all day while the owner stayed inside the RV. The majority of dogs we encountered over our two weeks were well mannered and well trained and they were not a problem. We just happened to be surrounded by dog owners who probably shouldn't own dogs. If we return next year, we will no doubt ask if we can be placed somewhere where we're not surrounded by dogs.

This is a very nice park with reasonable rates, and except for the dog issues, we had a great time and want to return. Your...

If you're looking for a peaceful getaway at Myrtle Beach, this travel park provides a perfect balance of relaxation, convenience, and comfort. Located in a serene area, this park offers a quiet retreat, ideal for campers who want to unwind without the hustle and bustle of more crowded vacation spots. The atmosphere is laid-back and tranquil, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing vacation.

One of the major highlights of this travel park is its proximity to the beach. It’s only a short walk away, giving you quick access to the soft sands and refreshing waters of Myrtle Beach. Whether you want to take a morning stroll along the shore, enjoy a beachside picnic, or spend your day swimming and sunbathing, the beach is right there, making it incredibly convenient.

Another great perk is how close the park is to a wide range of restaurants, shopping centers, and entertainment options. Whether you’re in the mood for a casual meal, fine dining, or shopping at local boutiques, everything is just a short drive or even walk away. Myrtle Beach offers tons of fun activities—whether you’re interested in mini-golf, amusement parks, live shows, or nightlife—everything you need is within easy reach, making it an ideal location for exploring the best of what the area has to offer.

Safety is a top priority at this travel park. The area feels very secure, and there is a sense of comfort knowing that you're in a well-maintained environment. With well-lit roads and clear security measures in place, you can rest easy knowing that your vacation will be worry-free. It’s an ideal spot for families, couples, or solo travelers who value safety and peace of mind.

The park provides great utilities, with well-maintained sites that ensure your stay is comfortable. The water pressure is fantastic, so you can expect refreshing showers without any hiccups. Power connections and waste disposal are top-notch, making it a smooth experience for campers. However, it’s worth mentioning that the internet service is a bit of a letdown. The connection can be slow and inconsistent at times, which might be a minor inconvenience if you're relying on Wi-Fi for work or streaming. However, this is a small issue compared to the overall quality of the park.

The staff at the office and store are incredibly welcoming and friendly, always ready to offer assistance or share helpful tips about the local area. They go out of their way to ensure your stay is enjoyable and comfortable. The store has a variety of essentials, and the staff there is always willing to help with any questions or needs you might have.

An excellent service offered at this park is the ability to store your camper onsite. If you're a frequent traveler to Myrtle Beach, this could be a huge benefit. The park will store your camper and even pull it out for you when you're ready to stay. This makes it incredibly convenient if you don’t want to deal with towing or storing your camper elsewhere.

Overall, this travel park offers a fantastic experience for those looking to enjoy a peaceful, comfortable, and convenient stay at Myrtle Beach. With quick access to the beach, a variety of nearby activities, great utilities, and an incredibly friendly staff, it provides a top-notch vacation experience. The internet could use some improvement, but this is a minor issue compared to the overall quality of the park. If you’re looking for a safe, relaxing, and easy getaway in Myrtle Beach, this travel park is definitely worth...

I really like the location of this park; close to lots of attractions and dinning. The staff were nice and I liked all the daily activities. Enjoyed the barrel train ride... cute and fun and the man driving was very nice and personable. The pool games were entertaining for all ages; the young girls running the games did a good job. I appreciated pool rules being enforced by the lifeguards... like, no throwing balls in the pool. Others may not like this but when you’ve been someplace that’s chaotic because no rules are enforced, it can ruin a family vacation. All the pool staff where professional and friendly.

Friendly staff everywhere on the grounds!!

Some things that could be improved... pave some roads or some sites. When it didn’t rain, it was extremely dusty. When it did rain, there were mud puddles and pot holes everywhere. Some sites were even flooded after quick bursts of rain.

Lots of ants... everywhere on our site... constant battle during our stay.

I don’t like that I can’t pick my site. Many sites are small. One site we were on, we couldn’t even extend our awning because it hit the shelter. Our camper is only 23 feet long... small in comparison to many.

Breakfast by the Sea was not good. Biscuits were so dry my husband about choked... seriously. Eggs undercooked, biscuit gravy disgusting, French toast had cooked egg on the outside of it, ketchup bottle handed to me had dried up ketchup all over the lid... gross. Also, everything is served on styrofoam plates in styrofoam cups with plastic silverware.... not enjoyable to eat on or with and absolutely horrible for the environment!!!!! The place is bad.

I was very frustrated by the number of people that continuasly walked through my campsite... adults and kids. Also, kids rode their bikes through my campsite numerous time. When I said something, everyone acted like I was the bad guy. Please, please add, not walking through occupied campsites to the rule list. It probably won’t change these people’s behavior but at least it may be a reminder for the clueless!

Dog feces in many places around the park. Why people can’t clean up after their dogs is beyond me.

Lastly, I noticed numerous farrel cats on the property. One day I was sitting at my site and a cat ran into it, leaped, and then caught a little bird, for dinner or a snack, in mid air. I was shocked... it was gross. Trap and get rid of the stray cats; it makes the place seem trashy.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay and thought the staff were friendly. If anything, the caliber of the people that were at the park during my visit turned me off. So many had no regard or consideration for others camping around them (walking through my site, loud music at times, and not picking up after their dogs). If I come back, it won’t be during the peak...
