Ocean Towers Beach Club — Hotel in North Myrtle Beach

My uncle is a paraplegic resident of this resort and has been stranded on the 5th floor waiting for a broken elevator to be fixed for a WEEK! No spare elevator parts at the resort, no expedited shipping paid for to receive the part, trying to get my uncle to leave the resort by fire department because they NEEDED HIS ROOM TO CHECK SOMEONE ELSE IN, and now, with the elevator part IN THE RESORT…NOT paying the overtime fee to have a repairman come in and fix it ASAP. So having to wait at least another day. Extremely unprofessional and ridiculous that this is how Ocean Towers treats their customers. And paraplegic, 35-year residents at that. DO NOT stay at...

I will never recommend this place to anyone. It is the worst resort I have ever stayed at. Here are the list of things I experienced there. The coffee maker had coffee in it with mold. The 2nd bedroom closet had mold in the ceiling. We had children with us. There was only one (1) blanket in the entire unit of 3 bedrooms and a sleeper sofa. The shower curtain was very dirty. The carpet was old and nasty which activated my sinusitis. 2 stove burners did not work. No sheets or blankets for the put out sofa bed. Master bath tub was totally clog. The best part of the condo complex is the ocean front view and the size of the unit. The unit we stayed in was very dated and in need of repair!!! Disgusting air filter and coils with the cooling/heating system. The unit sleeps 6, but only 5 chairs provided at the dining room table. Broken kitchen garbage can, actually missing pieces of the top and bottom! The gate to the pool that faces the street does not locking! Many other issues with the unit! I emailed the company 2x with the issues we had and never received a response.
