Imperial Suites — Hotel in Norwalk

I would have rather slept in my car, too bad I already paid the man. 1st the room smelt like smoke and if you turned on the A/C it only got worse. The bed had tons of long black hairs on it, 3-5 per side of the two flat pillows. It was also on the sheet and coverlet. It was like they only remade the bed after the last person. I think I got a tiny piece of glass in my foot from walking barefoot in the room. The shower head sprayed everywhere and no where. Positives: Looks like they upgraded to new faux vinyl floors recently. The room was warmer than my car would have been and at least there was hot water to take a shower. Couldn’t have done that in my car. A mini refrig and microwave was in the room. Just had to plug them in for use. The door locked so privacy was available. And there was plenty of lights in the parking lot (no fees to park.) The guy at the over night window was respectful. Better than camping but just barely. Would only recommend this place in...

Don't go there!!! There are roaches in rooms, and even more roaches if you get the bottom floor. The owners are much like slum- lords. Does the health department approve of roaches? The maids do not even clean properly. I'd be surprised if they washed the towels and sheets! They do nothing when you complain. Horrible for a price of $100.00! Really people?
