Vista Verde Park — Attraction in Norwalk

Love this park but lately they have shut down the water park for the kids. alot of the slides and swings have been damaged. And a recent shooting accured today around 9pm. We had norwalk public safety and sheriff's hangout in the area which made us feel safe. During the day I love how they have after school programs for the kids with snacks and games and stuff. Would give more stars just wish the community was more involved in preserving these areas for kids we need this for everyone. The park is our only area of rejoice and peace. And these gangs and low life people are trying to take that from us. Anywho I'd give more stars if the city would invest in someone to fix these issues...

This super clean park offers a little bit of everything a newly updated playground, basketball courts, a tennis wall, and a huge open field perfect for soccer or other outdoor games.

It’s also very dog-friendly, which is one of the reasons I love coming here. I usually walk my dog around 8 PM, and even at night, the park feels safe and peaceful thanks to the excellent lighting throughout the area.

It would be Better if they had a dog park there. There's space for it. I live in the city of Norwalk actually around the corner from this park. I pay ridiculous amounts of taxes. I pay registration and license fees for my dog yet there's no dog park. Or anything that benefits dog owners. Ain't...
