Wienerschnitzel — Restaurant in Norwalk

So let me start off by saying I love the food here. However the customer service could definitely use improvement. Unsure if it has to do with higher ups or the actual employees though. Could be the boss is super strict. The other night on my way home from the store I was walking through and decided you know what? Some weinersnitzel sound hella bomb right now. So I go to the window, I place my order, I go to pay and that’s where the real disappointment begins. I walk everywhere, don’t have a car so my feet are how I move. However I only had 100 dollar bills on me at the moment and guess what, they don’t accept higher bills over 20. Which I can totally understand due to not having to change every single 100 they come across and then not have cash in their register. I can totally comprehend that. However when I only have that bill and I’m walking, I thought explaining that to the cashier would make enough of a “hey man I’m on foot and I only have this bill so could you be please just this once accept it” Mind you it was almost to the end of their operation hours so I’m not there at a busy time at all. I wasn’t just disappointed in the fact this person could not take my money, but simply appalled at the smug attitude about not taking my money and sending me away without a care. Now that’s great customer service!! Anyways, make sure you all aren’t too rich when you go to this establishment. It’s weinersnitzel after all.

Well if you get to this location when it says it is open, don't expect to order. They are supposed to be open at 10am. I walked up to window at 10:05. And someone who had a hard time communicatingwith me came to window. After I couldn't understand her, someone else came up to window and said they are not ready yet. They are still setting up so not serving food yet. I understand things happen and don't know their end of story. But looks like they are just unprepared and with a franchise like this I think they would be ready to serve food. Its 10:18, I took a chance to see if they started taking orders yet and they are not. This experience did not ruin eating at weinersnitchel for me but won't probably visit this...

Horrible service, my husband and I came here to try the new southern lemonade and other things but when we approached the window this older, heavy set, Hispanic women with dark roots and blonde ends walked away and acted like she was working on the ice cream machine a believe. We stepped back just so we could discuss what we wanted and when we were done we waited at the window. The women took 5 minutes before she looked up at me and even when she did she rolled her eyes and kept working. We waited another 5 minutes with still no “hello” we left.
