EVEN IF THIS IS THE LAST MOTEL ON EARTH I WOULD NOT STAY HERE!!!

IN ADDITION ALL THE GOOD REVIEWS HAVE BEEN WRITTEN BY STAFF ETC DUE TO THE FACT YOU CAN SEE USERS HAVE WRITTEN GOOD REVIEWS MORE THAN ONCE WITHIN A ONE WEEK PERIOD!!!!

This is the worst hotel i have ever stayed at from the moment i walked in to the moment i left. To start off when we arrived the employee was very unhelpful and more focused on helping her boyfriend get sugar for his coffee. Therefore she screwed up our reservation causing a major headache the next day because she only booked us for one night instead of two. We were unable to return to our room because our key didn't work and when i went to the front desk i was confronted by a very hostile employee named ANNA. She told me i had to get out of my room because my room was no longer available to me although i had booked it for 2 nights. After feeling threatened by the employee ANNA about trying to work something out to get my room, because the employee from the night before messed everything up I then called my wife up to the desk to prove a message of confirmation. After realizing the employee messed up our reservations she turned her attitude around and tried to act nice and acted like honoring the $10 discount from price line was such a good deal. After a 20 min ordeal we were finally let back into our room. Therefore we had to go threw the check in process twice. After being harassed and feeling terribly mistreated we decided to leave the next day. Then when we went to go check out the employee at the desk said she had no record of someone being in our room. We canceled the next day and asked for a refund and the refund was declined several times. This is only the experience i had with the motel employee's. As far as the location goes this is the nastiest place i have ever stayed in. From the moment you walk in the place smells like dirty mop water and waffle house toilets. I feel like i needed a gas mask when i was walking to my room. The floors were absolutely gross and i refused to let my feet touch the ground. The bathroom was gross and there was a big crack in my shower and i felt like i was going to fall threw it when i attempted to take a shower. The wallpaper was literally peeling off the walls. I went to Walmart and bought candles and air fresher and the room still smelled like mold. Also the back door window was cracked and terrifying to walk threw because each time you opened it the whole door frame shook and i thought the glass was going to shatter. I will never ever stay at another motel 6 for as long as live even if it was free. I will even tell all my friends and family about...

I live in Chicago and my brother needed a place to stay until I was able to get out to Wisconsin to get him. He traveled from California. Wisconsin is lovey, but when I pulled up to the hotel I was filled with guilt because I put my brother there. The pictures look nothing like what I seen when I pulled up. And I noticed other hotels better hotels right across the street. I felt soo terrible I put my brother there. Not only that but he had a terrible time there. People in the rooms around him had screaming children constantly and you can hear everything though the walls people laughing constantly and you can hear the conversations in every direction, and I only know that because when I was on the phone with my brother, I kept asking him. What was that? Who is that? Why are these children screaming like this and he told me this has been going on for hours and daily…every time I called him I heard everything that was going on through the walls along with the ignorant parents not controlling their children & screaming children didn’t do any favors for my brother in the condition he was in…i wanted my brother to have a nice peaceful quite place where he could relax for a week and a few days. Not the case. If anything it made his anxiety go through the roof and made the whole situation with my brother so much more terrible. I do not recommend this location what so ever. And as a matter of fact they have people hanging outside that made me very eager to pull out of there as quickly as I could and as I was leaving two cops pulled up and I got out of there as quick as anyone could once I retrieved my brother. Never again. I did not go in to see the rooms as I could not even get out of the car comfortably. And I wish I could’ve taken some updated pictures for you guys, but I was so shaken I had to get out of there with my brother. If you do stay here beware might want to think about spending that extra $20 for the hotel across the street. It’s definitely worth it. This was about maybe two weeks ago maybe a little more can’t remember exactly maybe the first week of September 2024 to the middle of September 2024 and I still feel guilt for having my brother stay there in his condition & in such a horrible atmosphere. 😞 not what my goal was...

I didn't leave because most other motels I looked at were booked for my stay in Wisconsin in surrounding areas that I would be in. I chose Motel 6 because in California they are nice, and I like brick places. But as I went to my room I could tell none of the carpets been cleaned in the hallways or room due to the dirty carpet smell. I then use the bathroom and notice the wallpaper was peeled off and the new wallpaper in the area that was messed up wasn't even put back on to cover up the damaged part of wall. As I try and use door lock to keep door safely cracked and open window to air out room, I noticed door lock was loose and just fell off, and window was nailed almost closed and screen was off hinge. I thought this was a fire hazard, if there was that 1% chance there would be a fire and I couldn't use the front door. I then thought I would take a shower and not complain and turn on the air conditioner for that may help. The air conditioner never got cool enough, and the shower temperatures weren't even set according to how it showed on the nozzles, after I figured it out and tried to take a shower the water didn't even come out like it should of and ran like I was turning it off at warm temperature and even cold. It ran perfect at burning hot though. I go downstairs and complain, all they could tell me is maintenance would be there at 7am, and if he couldn't fix it they would change my room. I accepted that because it was late. When the next day came they kept saying its only one maintenance man and he had other stuff to do. I asked for a room change and was told I was making excuses not to pay, which I payed in full for my stay there upfront. Getting a refund wasn't an option because that excuse was they have the option of not having to give one. To top it off i had to encounter cigarette and marijuana smells in the hallway, and watch human trafficking as i came and went from the hotel. This was a total disgrace to the chain of Motel 6 out in the US, and so not worth my week stay. The only thing that was descent was the maids and...
