If I could rate this place a Negative 100. I would .This hotel is by far the WORST hotel I have ever stayed in, in my entire life. From check in to check out I’ve had issues ending with law enforcement having to be called due to Valerie at the front desk refusing to release my children’s items from the room. Me and my babies have endured mold for our entire stay from September 29th until October 17. We complained and made the staff aware of the issue and the mold still was not handled until October 14. 3 days prior to our departure date. I work from home and requested a chair on my first day checking in. I didn’t not receive that till the 14th either. I have a 2 month old, a 1 year old, and a 2 year old that are now all sick because of the mold. My children have fallen multiple times because apparently the fridge had a leak that maintenance refused to fix, instead I had to empty a water container out of the back of the fridge every few days. The rooms are not insulated so everything is always wet, the walls are so wet and soft near the ac that’s my 1 year old when ask able to put his elbow through the wall. Loud people and children running through the halls literally after 12am (when I went to complain, I was told that since they were there longer then me, I wouldn’t win that fight). Fast forward to checking out, the hotel decided to keep my 50$ deposit because they said they had to clean the linen.... so after experiencing pure hell, they decided to keep my 50$ cash deposit. Then I had to make 2 trips to retrieve all my belongings from the room, when I came back to get the rest of my children’s belongings (prior to check out time which was 11am, I was back before 10am) Valerie at the front desk did a complete 360 And lied to my Face saying that I told her to throw away all my kids belongings, (car seats, double stroller, all of their clothes). Valeria had her own daughter in a play pen behind the desk so at this point I'm convinced she just wanted my kids things because she can’t afford those things for her kid. By law you should knew she could not keep my property. Police were called after the staff chasing my husband off property because he was standing near the office calling the police. I was able to get my kids things after waiting 2 hours for them to come. I lost 3 hours of work dealing with this place, personal property due to mold and couldn't even get my deposit back. And through all of this, the Owner never showed his face, not even when I requested to speak to him because of Valerie’s lack of knowledge of the policies. All I’ve gotta say is this hotel will be hearing from the Better business bureau, health department, code enforcement, corporate, DCF,...
Read moreI've been here for three years living on the property, and I could say the property has went from bad to good. When I first started in 2012 the property was filled with "walkers" prostitutes and drug dealers, but as of 2013 that ALL has changed. I would have to say "Thank You" to the new management team (Leo and Steven). Leo the property manager has done great things for the property such as giving back to the community, helping families in need, assisting families when they don't have money for laundry, giving gifts to families during the holiday's, and even giving away food and clothing to those in need but its sad that the local community and certain guest don't see that positive portion. His main goal is to bring Great Value Suites a good name and renovate all rooms and buildings, so of course everyone could feel at home. The things Leo is doing is to benefit the property and guest are all traits we should be looking at because he's actually focusing on family needs. Business is great for the property, and that's because of the management team. Steven, is hated of course from his position as assistant manager and security manager, but he's united with Leo because they have a primary goal and that's to have zero tolerance on the property for people who break the property rules and laws. Steven, has a great relationship with local law enforcement to help clean the property up, but once again its for everyone safety. Every dog has its day and that's the best way to describe these dedicated men on making a difference to our community. Maintenance and housekeeping, are all dedicated to their jobs and do a great job. They complete the task quickly (maintenance) and housekeeping does a great job with the rooms. The front desk girl Diani is very helpful, vey good with people, always answers all questions, polite, and is always prompt with business hours which are from 9am-5pm. Diani, keep doing a great job because you're awesome.Outside of the property, from my opinion has changed a lot as well and that's because most businesses partnered up together to gain a "trespass warning" from all areas that businesses may be effected by. Orange County Sheriff Office, is doing an outstanding job on responding to calls for service and bettering our community by taking these criminals off the streets.

I tried to explain to the office attendant ( Valerie ) what had happened, and the only thing that she was concerned about, was that the broken toilet seat would be taken out of my security deposit, and the amazing thing was Valerie never showed any concerns on my wellbeing or even once ask me how I was doing.|||| I tried to explain that the seat was dry rotten and that's why it shattered. At that time, I asked Valerie how soon they could have the seat replaced, and Valerie's reply was, (( " I can put in a maintenance request, but I can tell you it won't be replaced until you check out of the room." )) She made it clear, that I would be paying for the toilet seat. So at that time I came to the conclusion that I was wasting my time with her, so I just threw my hands up in the air and walked away. At that time, I went back to the room and got my purse, and went to the ORMC Hospital. ||PG. 2||||||Upon leaving the hospital, I went to Homedepot and bought a ( Wooden Toilet Seat ), and upon returning to the Room (2207), I replaced the toilet seat so we would at least be able to use the toilet. ||||||Note: ||I have the pictures and the defective toilet seat in my possession.||||||Truly,||Rickey H xxxxxx||||CC: Marsha...
