The worst nail experience I’ve ever had. First the nail tech barely prepped my nails. Hardly any filing at all. The filing that was done was done so roughly I have cuts on my finger. Then when I asked him to cut my nails down after I’d already said twice that this was what I wanted he ignored me and asked me what shape I wanted 3 times. When I finally said I wanted coffin he told me my nails will look weird shorter with this shape. I have been getting my nails done like this for 10 years. I know what I like. And the shaping that he did looks sloppy and uneven. Next he put my dip on like acrylic which left the tops of the nails looking like there wasn’t enough color on them and it was not evenly distributed. After the dip was applied HE DID NOT FILE IT AT ALL. When questioned by me he said this is how it’s always done. I’ve been getting my nails done for 20 years and have been to many salons. This is not how it’s done. Lastly, he did not put a base coat on for the finish. Just put the top coat on and sent me on my way. I was going to wait and see how long the nails stayed on before I made a review but they look so horrible and were so rushed that I couldn’t wait to review. This man took 50 min to do my nails when my other 2 favorite nail salons who were both too booked (I waited too long to make an appt), both take 1.5 hours to do my nails. What a waste of money. I recently moved from Miami to Orlando, and for a while, I was still driving nearly 4 hours every two weeks back to Miami just to get my nails done, yes, I’m that picky! I’ve always loved long, dramatic, beautifully designed nails, and it’s honestly so hard to find someone who can really execute that with the right shape, detail, and quality.
