I usually shop at DSW in the Promenade. Never had any problems. We decided to check out this DSW store. As we are checking out we had to wait for the back to bring up the other shoe. That was not a quick process. After they finally bring shoe I didnt see the CS girl really check the sizes. I asked if she checked she said yes. I am walking to the car thinking I need to check. Thank goodness i did cause they brought up a mans shoe. The inside of my shoe was black and the inside of the male shoe was brown. Should have been caught IF the CS girl Really did check. So I am standing in line now to return and I am upset. Nick was the medt to help??? He was rude and never once said sorry. I explained the situation and he seemed to act as though it is normal for the customer to have to bring back the wromg shoes. He evem said to me rudely "you dont have to be sarcastic" Um when I catch your error and you domt apologize AND when they brought up the other shoe again Nick told her she was wrong and that I needed a mans (nice to know that all 3 employees didnt know what they were doing) My biggest complaint at this point would be that Nick made me never ever come back to this store. When i got up to the front, they asked all the normal questions and then asked if it was ok to return to the original form of payment. I explained that NO, it was a gift and Iād be getting a different pair and I was hoping for a gift card, the employee had already processed the return to the original card while I was talking. She told me there was nothing they could do and to āmaybe text the person who got you these and ask for the moneyā. Just frustrated that they wouldnāt check before processing and that they jumped the gun. The manager also said there is nothing they can do. I was dropping in sweat a bunch of people in line were fanning themselves. There were only 3 registers open with tons of people working there. By the time I made it to the front of the line I thought I would pass out. I said something to the woman checking me out about the 20 min wait and she said nothing..... no gosh Iām sorry, or our registers are down nothing.
