The worst experience ever. Had 19:30 reservations and at 19:50 I had to ask what was the hold up. Thanks to a family friend I think at 20:00 we would still have been waiting for our table. Our food didn’t come out until 21:47 and it was cold , some orders weren’t correct and missing. At this time my tolerance level was being tested so I ask for a manager. So the GM (Kathy) came out and gave me a ton of excuses. We so busy, it’s Cinco De Mayo and that you were told that it would be a wait for food when I made the reservation. I told Kathy I get the restaurant was busy but I’m not trying here that. I told her my daughter picked this spot to celebrate her graduation. I got more excuses then Kathy said, “sir what do you want”. My response you tell me and I was getting so fed up with poor customer service skills I had to walk away. I’m sorry you are a Mexican restaurant and you didn’t properly staff yourself for Cinco De Mayo! What was really pissing me off was that other guest that were seated the same as us were served and paid their bill before our food came out. If I wasn’t properly home trained I would have slap the taste out of Kathy’s mouth for the attitude she gave me and the insincere apology she gave. Later I found out that she claimed to be the victim and that I was unprofessional. After hearing that I wished I had bytch slapped her. I will never ever go to En Fuego in oak brook or recommend...

This is the BEST place for Mexican food!!! The food is so flavorful and delicious. We have been here many times and the experience is always great. Great food and great service. The staff is very attentive and friendly and there is a very native ambiance and feel to this restaurant. The artwork is beautiful and the establishment is very clean. My favorite meal is the chicken enchiladas with red sauce; and these aren't your typical enchiladas, they are the best I've ever had. The trio salsa sampler is a great option. It allows you to try 3 of their many fresh salsas as a starter. The "house" salsa is incredible too, though, if you decide to just stick with that. It's a green salsa with flavors of fresh cilantro and lime. My family and I have tried many dishes they have to offer and they are all delicious and unique; we have never been disappointed. Everything is very reasonably priced for the quality and amount of food you get. I highly recommend...

The only thing worse than the food was the service. We were seated right away and then waited 15 minutes before someone came to the table. At this point we were given chips and salsa and left to sit for ten more minutes with nothing to drink. Then our visual put out waitress showed up and asked us for our drink order. This would be one of the 3 times we saw her. She brought our drinks and took our order. The food was dropped off by someone else and I sat there without a drink for over ten minutes. Thechicken fajitas I ordered were horrible. I would say 3 full soggy onion with 7 pieces of dry chicken and maybe four slices of green pepper. The food wasn't even hot and had clearly not been grilled on the platter in was severed on. The food came out 5 minutes after we ordered so my guess is it was sitting in the kitchen somewhere. If you want mexican food that's better than this place I suggest you go to any burrito stand in the area. A total waste of...
