People are nice but accommodations are in definite need of an uplift. We stayed in one of 10 cottages, they claim it's enough for a family of 4, meaning 2 adults & 2 children. However the Queen bed in the main bedroom was not even on a proper sized frame and kept needing adjustments. The frame was for a full size mattress. The pull out sofa was so dilapidated and deformed that it was a joke. Their dining table consisted of a round mini table w/fold down leaves and 2 chairs, they did have 2 TV trays in the utility closet but no extra chairs. The toilet water kept running, we checked in on a Friday and it was truly irritating, listening to the water constantly stopping and going until Monday. That's when someone finally came to fix it. (The previous guest complained and notified staff but no one works on weekends except for the gate/security/check in people (2). Even after maintenance came and changed the floater and NOT the bulb it continued to run, just not as much. The entry-way had a large porch (ADA COMPLIANT) which had a nice rotund metal table but again only 2 chairs & no kind of covering or awning from the weather. There was a picnic table next to the cottage that could sit 6 people comfortably but no covering from the elements. Although the entry was ADA COMPLIANT the unit itself was not.

I’m 89 and I thought after everyone saw why James did what he did that someone there would have called and ask us to come so someone could Apologize. That never happened there is a lot more to this story. The last thing Mike told James was he did not want to open this can of worms and he laffed I bet he is not laffing now. What is so bad is we are sorry would have went along way with Mike after all look how we were treated by a THIEF that thought he was so smart. I ran a park in Gatlinburg Tennessee for years this was so obvious it’s unreal and you better believe he was not alone stealing like he was doing or there are some real dumb board members. Him being Mgr and in control of the books (BOTH SETS) is not right and he will show all of you what was going on and back as far as 8 years. When you see the amount of money that is involved it will get everyone’s attention and the news will be involved with this one. I can’t take it and he knows it so thank god he has put it on hold for me but don’t think for a second he has forgot and I know y’all are going to have to see just how this came about him knowing and you will he knew what he was talking about with James and I promise he knows about this to. Just wish y’all had done the right thing you will but it will be to late then . I’m sorry all this happened but James did every bit of this and he got what he deserved and it’s not over for him he has more charges coming State and Fed it’s a shame you can’t do what is right and we put this behind us just a shame you got to get the board members involved but they should have stoped what was going on and put him in jail instead of joining him in his playing hide and seek with the money you all know he could not do this alone it’s a shame they got the right one he...
Read moreDO NOT STAY AT THIS RV PARK!!!!!||We wish we could provide a positive review on this RV park but unfortunately, we can’t. When we arrived, we were told that the Park model accommodations that we reserved 3-weeks in advance would not be honored. The first reason we were given is that they simply overbooked the Park models. In addition, they could not provide an answer as to why they continued taking reservations when all the Park models were reserved. The next explanation was that the person that took the reservation was new and booked it as an RV hook up (which is ½ the cost of a Park model), but they charged us the Park model price of $149 so that was a lie. Finally, the real reason for bumping us was that “members” get priority so my reservation was given to a member. There is nothing on the Preferred RV website stating that “members” have higher priority and there is a chance your reservation will be cancelled. On top of all this, we were never notified about this cancellation, we found out when we arrived to check in. Apparently, they had written our phone number incorrectly and took no initiative to try and figure this out. They did have our email address but failed to contact us that way. Their only solution was to direct us to the Nugget Casino (across the street) saying that they talked to the front desk and rooms were available. They didn’t take the next step and reserve a room for us which would have been the right thing to do. If you have a reservation with this organization, you should call the office and verify that they will honor it. If this is how they handle this type of situation, it is a terrible business model.
