--UPDATE---Although this place USED TO BE delicious and a happy place for my 80 year old mother and I to eat, it stinks royally because they made some VERY BAD CHANGES. And their food dropped to: "just ok" so we will no longer go out-of-out-way to go here to eat. That made our decision easy...we will NEVER RETURN! How sad, to save a few bucks because they hire UNfriendly servers with horrible less-than-desirable attitudes and scare customers away! They used to have buy one get the second sandwich half off every Thursdays and offered other similar discounts every day of the week. Now, they have limited and boring no nothing specials that don't draw you in. The food is missing the small things that added to the food such as the little extras they USED to give you like special sause and they no longer CUT the gyros--REALLY?! The servers USED to serve with a smile, be kind, were funny and always chatted with us, (oh Shane...were are you, oh how we miss you!! ...sigh...) just to name a couple of things--but as usual, when we find something good, they ALWAYS have to discontinue it, they lose their sense of humor (lost the good servers to awful servers lost our wonderful Shane to.....others) and are quite UNfriendly and stiff and most importantly extremely UNaccomodating!! You better make sure to think of everything you may need BEFORE the server leaves your table because you will never see them again during your meal. Oh, and you better bring your own hot tea...they told us (with an attitude) it would take 15 minutes to heat the water for tea and at that they only had black tea. WOW! Don't they realize people today drink herbal teas also, and 15 minutes to boil the water...REALLY?! Apparently they haven't heard of the instant water pots that make hot water in less than 1 minute. Oh, and don't you dare ask for some fresh coffee, you might get you're eyes scratched out! The NEW name of this place should be: NOT The Place to Go!! -------------------- CRAZY DELICIOUS SANDWICHES !! This place might appear to be just another REGULAR, BORING restaurant from the outdide, however...... it is a hidden Jewel in the wheeler Pass Shopping Center. We ordered the reuben sandwich and the gyro sandwich and it was SO INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS I can't even begin to tell you, but I will tell you this, HANDS DOWN, that it is BEST sandwich shop in Pahrump!! Please treat yourself to some REALLY, REALLY GOOD EATS!! P.S. oh, and now your delivery has to be $30 or more or they don't deliver!...

The food was ok. The burger I had was ok but the patties were a bit small for the price. The menu leads led me to believe the way it was phrased that the sandwich was going to be significantly bigger. The menu said two patties etc except they were two very small hand made patties where one bigger patty would have sufficed for the amount of meat they actually used.

The service was great The girl waiting tables was polite friendly and a pleasure to talk to. always asking if we needed something within plenty of time before we actually did.

They also only have a single bathroom which of course with my luck was in use when I got there and I had to wait a few minutes to wash my hands.

It is in all a decent place to eat, not the worst not the best. It is just your typical burger joint. A good option to grab lunch if you're in the area but I wouldn't make it a...

The hostess is the sweetish kindest person. She's carrying. Wants customers to feel welcome. The food that ordered was okay. The single beef patty was the tastiest . It was for my service dog. The Calzone was lacking in that it was mostly dough. It needed better traditional Italian ingredients. choices were limited for fillings. NO Marinara sauce as the ladies baking had already put it away. This was my second visit this week because of the great service. The Reubin sandwich s meat was tough and had pieces of grizzel. Taste was edible green salad was fresh and crisp. The Zucchini medallion were tasty. May I make a suggestion? Cut the Zucchini length wise and bread and fry it. I will be back again. It takes time for a business to get the quirks out Thank you....

We had a few places picked out that we wanted to try in Pahrump, but they were all either closed on Sunday or closed because of Halloween. We ended up here since it was right by our hotel. Our order: - Heart Attack Fries - Ozark/Sweet & Spicy Boneless wings with Onion Rings - Elote Dog with Tots The Heart Attach Fries were pretty solid. I liked the meat on them and wanted more sauce for sure. The Elote was great, a little weird on a hot dog, but still good. The boneless wings were a mistake. They weren't crispy at all. In fact, they were almost mushy. The onion rings weren't cooked enough—the onion was still crunchy. If you need a place to eat, I'd go for a hot dog or maybe try a burger here.

Oscar's The Place To Go is an excellent spot for lunch, especially if you're on the road or looking for a quick bite. The food was good, offering satisfying and tasty options for everyone. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the top-tier customer service. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made the experience even better. Conveniently located just off Highway 160, The Place To Go is the perfect lunch spot to recharge and enjoy a pleasant meal. Whether you're a local or just passing through, it's a place worth stopping by. Personal favorite: Parmesan Zucchini is my favorite appetizer.

First time visit. Got the Cowboy Burger which had two Angus patties, cheese, bacon and onion rings. It was topped by BBQ sauce which had been enthusiastically applied (and required some removal for my taste). The onion rings were good, about a 7 on a 1 to 10 scale as compared to the 11 best onion rings in the universe served at Kings seafood outside San Marcos, Texas. Fries were good. Would return to try some of the other offerings.
