This rv park was nothing Less of AMAZING! Im pretty sure this is one of the nicest rv parks we've stayed at! Staff was friendly & very helpful! Everything was super clean!! Paved roads & rv spots!! Lots of amenities - laundry rooms on site, showers & bathrooms, HOT TUB (the hottest I've EVER been in 😍) 2 pools, fitness gym, game room, tons of other games for the kids- shuffle board, basketball, volleyball, a playground, etc, lighted streets, 2 small ponds... For your Garbage you just sit it at the end of your drive and they come by twice a day to pick out up for you! Great location! Its only about 10 min from the Rick Seltzer park which is a public beach with bathrooms and showers! Wal-Mart is about 2 blocks away, basically in the center of all the action! 2 blocks from the Fork off front beach road where Thomas drive starts ! Rates were reasonable , and the upscale park, amenities, & location makes up for not being directly on the beach! They are animal friendly ☺ so they have plenty of spots for picking up after them, with bags and trash can. They also have a dog wash area to get all the sand washed off them! The ONLY thing I'd say they need to improve would be the dog area. There's only ONE actual fenced in dog park. This was disappointing bc on the gate where you enter it said for dogs OVER 15lbs ... Which none of ours are over that, but I still let them go inside when I didn't see any other dogs inside. Just to be able to let them run freely for some exercising! Everyone who camps knows most places they have to be leashed so it's nice from time to time to be able to let them run as fast as they want without me slowing them down lol... No this isn't a problem at all but as I stated it would be nice to have another fenced in area for dogs less than 15lbs .. This does NOT mean we won't go back either, it's just one thing that could be improved 😉 We will DEFINITELY be back in the future!

We love this resort! We stay every summer. They have more than any resort we've ever stayed at, with over 100 cement (or pavers) sites, full 20/50amp hookup (S/E/W/C), golf cart friendly, cabin rentals, HVAC bath/shower rooms, two HVAC laundry rooms, security, gated entrance, amazing landscape done weekly, palm trees and tropical foliage throughout, many shaded sites (except lake sites), two catch & release lakes with water features, two pools, one hot tub, water fall, clubhouse, trash pickup three times a day, several pull thru sites, store, ice, gym, game room, basketball court, sand volleyball court, (NO tennis court as one lady stated in her comment), playground, shuffleboard, horseshoe, fenced dog run/play area, dog wash, weekend breakfast buffet ($7, 10yo and under eat free), and additional parking for your boat, golf cart trailer, or car hauler. The only one downside I can come up with is that there is not enough overflow parking and many campers may tend to utilize more than the site they paid for, BUT the staff try to keep folks from parking in the driveway or on an empty sites. We have amazing daily views of the giraffes (Chase & Lynn) next door at the zoo, sticking their heads over the fence. Most staff live at the resort and are very friendly. Its very clean and well loved and cared for here. We love our summer home away from home!

We absolutely adore sun outdoors pcb! This is our second time bringing our camper and staying. The first time you stay somewhere you always wonder if your experience was just rose colored glasses..... but it absolutely was not the case here. We were just as impressed as the last time in 2022. The campground is just so we'll laid out. Plenty of room between sites, and plenty of room to maneuver a large rig. The campground is so clean and the pools are sparkling. Our little girl loved the playground, she had a blast there in the late afternoons! The staff is phenomenal as well. The location is great too, you can turn right at the end of allison and head to front beach or you can go straight and head to Thomas drive. Such a quick drive anywhere you need to go!! I could go on and on with so many good things! We took our best friends on this trip and they brought their camper as well, they were equally impressed with all things!! We will definitely be back and we're already excited!!

My family stayed here from June 1st thru June 8th, 2017. My parents were in their 40 ft. fifth wheel while my family of four stayed in a park model. My parents were in a pull through spot and we were a short walk away near Turtle pond. The campground was kept impeccably clean with trash service 3 times per day. The lamp posts, flowers, and trees made everything beautiful during the day and night. My twin 4 year old boys took full advantage of the pools and we felt safe walking around the grounds. We played at the playground once (ran out of time) but it was clean and well kept too. It stayed relatively quiet most of the week, but we did have a couple nights of teens shouting in and around the unit next to us well past midnight.

There are little things that could be improved upon. In our park model, there were several minor things that didn't work. One of the fans only worked on high speed, the oven light didn't work, the surround sound speakers cut in and out. Of course these things weren't evident right away but we discovered little things like this during the week. And we weren't really bothered by most of it so it wasn't worth my trouble to call the front desk over. The one thing I did call about was the the shower knob fell off in my hand on the first use. We notified the front desk and they had someone fix that immediately only for it to happen again later in the week. One suggestion would be having a park model guidebook with helpful information in each unit. For example, we were only given three small trash bags for the week. We didn't know where to get more or if we were supposed to have brought our own. We were given 5 towels of each size and we blew through those pretty quick. Again, I was told only to bring beach towels because bath towels were provided but clearly we needed info on where to get more when needed or if it was up to us to wash them. Upon checking out there was no guidelines for what we needed to do to prepare the unit for our departure. Most condo places will tell you to run the dishwasher and gather all linens and place in the restroom or central location for easier and faster cleaning. I went ahead and did this on my own but if you tell others to do the same thing it will cut down on the cleaning times and possibly give a quicker turn around on the rentals. Speaking of rentals, my suggested guidebook would also list rentals for golf carts available for guests, pizza delivery places, etc. Area info would have been helpful if it were in a handy book. A "Get to know your park model" guide would have been a helpful thing!

A few complaints.. I called a week prior to arriving and asked if the park model we would be renting had a dvd player, and she didn't know. When I asked if they could tell me what numbers we would be in so I would know how close we were to my parents, she didn't know. She told me I could call back the day my parents arrived to find out. My parents got there one day before us so that didn't really help much. Also, we couldn't check into the park model until 3 p.m. because of the cleaning. (If you take a couple of my suggestions about the dishes and linens maybe it'll cut down on this late check-in time.) I went in at 2:56 to check-in and the woman literally sighed under her breath and looked at the clock before agreeing to get my paperwork going. I don't think she was even aware of it but I didn't miss her reaction. I'm guessing this is a point of contention that usually gets other visitors frustrated too. Another complaint-- there were two extremely soft brown blankets in our unit. They felt great but left brown fuzz on everything and I mean everything! Also, the pictures of the park model on the website have stairs and a loft. Only one model has this, all other models are single wide trailers. We had a queen bed and two sofa beds, not what I expected. They definitely featured the nicest model on the website which was a bit disappointing to find out. The unit was nice but nothing like the one pictured.

All in all, we had a great stay and we...

We have been coming to this campground for 3 years now. This was our second stay this year. We will not stay here again. Apparently they have had a few changes with the staff and rules. The new rule that you have to be in your campsite at 10 pm is crazy. You can't enjoy a leisurely stroll, talk amongst friends , wash clothes etc... after 10pm. Brenda ( a staff member) told us specifically that our family could have all of the fun they needed before 10 pm. It is 100 degrees outside during the day. We like to stay up late and talk to our friends quietly , sometimes walking around the ponds and campground, or wash clothes . The camp hosts harass children rudely daily asking kids if they have headlights on their bikes when they clearly can see they do. They were on! No lie, I counted 10 times in one day to one child. The hosts follow them around on the golf carts taking pictures of them without parental consent. That is unacceptable. The young ladies in the front office are nice and understanding but the manager, Lyle and the silver, short haired lady in the front office Are VERY rude. We use to be able to bring food and drinks( not glass) in the pool areas. That is no longer an option. The ladies at the front desk take pictures of you through the window and then preceded to come outside and yell at you that food and drinks are not allowed in the pool area. We were just there in March ( with different ladies working front desk) and ate shrimp with our large group at the pool while enjoying the day. No one said anything. I watched the older "security" man ask a child 7-8 years old if they were wet inside the club house. The child said "I'm not dripping, see." The security person smarted off to him and said," I asked you if you were wet. You aren't allowed in here, period, wet." The child just need to use the restroom. He had been out of the pool area drying. There is no excuse to be rude to children. Beware of staying here if you have children. The hosts are rude, the employees are RUDE. They do not want children in the campground cause they are retired. They don't want the FUN that comes along with children. They come at you with such poor attitudes. If they tried kindness, they may get better responses. I would not stay here again with my family. That's very sad because I have loved it for 3 years. We will NOT be back and I will make sure I tell everyone how much the old hosts and staff do NOT like children. They have a power trip. I'm on vacation. I am not going to come in at 10pm. I'm grown and will come in when I see fit. Do not advertise it as a family place if you don't want families there: Advertise it as a...

Beyond disappointed. Stayed here a total of 3 nights.

1st night we arrived super later which was out of the parks control but needless to say we arrived at 4am. I asked for a little grace since check out was at 10am. We wanted to get a shower before hitting the road again. They gave us another hour because they had another guest due to arrive (even though check in isn't until 2pm). They needed to clean up the site apparently so we left by 11am.

We continued our journey then returned a few days later. We had reservations for 2 days this time around. First night was fine no issues. We arrived and took the envelope that was left. On the envelope is your site number..pretty common. Inside the envelope was the reciept for both nights. OK great right...gonna be at the same site for both nights. I thought it would be best to just check so I went to the office during normal business hours, in fact it was right around check out. No one was in the office so we figure we were supposed to be in the same site.

We went about our day returning to the site a few times throughout the day, no one said anything no notes no new envelopes. We left for dinner. No sooner did we have our food served I recieved a call (it is now 8:30 at night now). Guess who it is....we are told we needed to move because the next guest was there and we were on their site. I said oh well which site are we supposed to be on? I explained why we were still there and that no one had given us direction on a different date. Apparently we didn't have a reservation. So I pulled up my confirmation....well it says I do?! Ohhh now they see it!! And we need to move so dinner has now been cut short and we rush back to get the RV moved. We pack up in less than 10 minutes! There was a gentleman sitting outside with a golf cart and I asked are you here to help direct us to the new site? He says no I'm helping the people who had a reservation. Ohhh ok....well I guess we will figure this out on our own...we are big boys and girls so now we are moved and in our new site, our dinner is cold, and we were not able to finish our activities for the night either.

I'm just not sure I understand how they were so concerned about cleaning up a site for the next guest the first night but the second night they didn't realize their own mistake until 8:30 and then to be treated like we did something wrong was awful.

Overall, a clean facilities but when we return in September I will be making reservations at a...
