I just returned from picking up jewelry that I pawned due to being a little behind on my bills & no family. This jewelry has been in my family for many years of which I expressed when pawning & I know it well. I did not get the same necklace back that I pawned there, the one I received has a completely different clasp with a little piece of tape where it looked like a price tag was on it. Besides that the S emblem had 3 scratches that were not there when I brought them in. The tape where I wrote my name the owner had me sign when leaving was broken so his employee cut it off when giving it back when i paid. They did not give me a receipt, my items were only there 2 weeks. When I pawned the jewelry initially his family / employee threw my jewelry rather then setting on the scale more then once and the owner took over the transaction. When I went back in to ask for my necklace back they tried to convince me with the weight then asked me to come back in I said im going to look for a picture please find my necklace. Please do not do business with them they are really bad people making alot of profit and still ripping people off with knowledge this was family heirlooms and still changed my necklace out. Im so sad right now that I had to pawn this jewelry in the first place. With the profit they made there should not be any reason to worry about them being so scandoulous. Im really heartbroken. If they did it to me they will do it to anyone. Im sure they switch diamonds out etc.. after my personal experience, I highly recommend not doing business with Panama Pawn Inc. I had silver I wanted to pawn, I had paper of authentication and paperwork. I first took it to Surfside Pawn the teller working at Surfside Pawn stated he still did not know if it was real silver or not and stated he had to test it first. He took my polished silver and proceeded to put some kind of liquid on it which turned that area a real blurry area. then stated he did not think it was completely Silver and refused to Pawn it. I then took it to Panama Pawn on Frt. Bch Rd, who looked at it and was just amazed. He stated that they had just turned a $125.00 piece of silver into a $75.00 piece of silver. He felt pity on me and still gave me a full $75.00 for a pawn and stated he would see what he could do to fix my Silver Bar. When I returned to get it out of pawn, He had polished the Whole bar and got the blurry part out, plus after doing a $25.00 polishing Job gave the polishing job to me for free. They have opened up a very fine and classy jewelry shop recently and know exactly what they are doing when dealing and repairing fine jewelry, from Diamonds, to Silver, to Gold. If I could give more than 5 stars for this Business I would , but until then I guess I have found my one and only Pawn Shop and Jewelry store for me...

My husband bought me a ring took it to jewelry store in town (walmart plaza 23rd st.) to have them mounted together with my new wedding band, picked up ring week before wedding it fit my finger weird but just left it alone. year later took it to panama pawn to have it fixed, they had to take rings apart when they first looked at ring told me they shouldn't have put them together like that. also 3 bagguette stones were cracked, so when they took the ring apart my stones fell out of my band which i was very unhappy. The wedding band now had to be scrapped...... Panama Pawn was awesome they had to rebuild both sides of my ring and i love it.. looks great.
