We recently stayed at Aria Sky Suites for the first time and overall had a good experience, though there were a few areas that could use improvement. The location is hard to beat—right on the Strip with easy access to other casinos and attractions.
Check-in was smooth and efficient. The separate Sky Suites lobby is a great touch, avoiding the long lines you often see at the main Aria check-in area. Our suite was ready upon arrival, and it was spacious, beautifully decorated, and most importantly, very clean. We were originally booked for a Mountain View room but were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a Strip View—definitely appreciated.
We did have a couple of minor issues. The mini bar hadn’t been restocked from the previous guest, not that we were tempted—$20 for a small bag of chips is a bit much. More concerning was that the bedroom AC wasn’t cooling properly. We mentioned it to the front desk the next morning, and by the time we returned, the room was cool and comfortable, so kudos to the team for addressing that quickly.
One noticeable miss was the lack of turn-down service. At this price point and brand tier, it’s something you expect, and its absence was disappointing. Public restrooms throughout the casino were in rough shape—visibly worn and in need of a deep clean, despite staff presence.
Pricing in the shops was also a bit of a shock. We nearly purchased a bag of imported chips for $18 and would have if the staff member hadn’t warned us. The Sky Suites lounge offers basic snacks and drinks, but nothing exceptional, and many drinks were room temperature—again, not what you’d expect for the price.
In terms of value and service, other properties nearby seem to outshine the Sky Suites. Waldorf Astoria, while casino-free, offers better service and more reasonable pricing. The Cosmopolitan next door provides balcony rooms with Bellagio fountain views, and Wynn Tower Suites—though further away—remain a gold standard for luxury and service.
In summary, Aria Sky Suites has a prime location and delivers on space and style, but falls short in a few key areas that make a big difference when you’re paying...
Read moreWe could not have been happier with the service we received from our room concierge, Toussaint Dupree, as well as the housekeeping staff, bell staff and drivers at the Aria. They not only made our stay comfortable but also accommodated every need we had while there. The people at the registration desk for Sky Suites were also top notch, I wish I could remember all their names, but Samantha and Melissa...
Read moreLove it! Beautiful large rooms with plenty of complimentary amenities. It was wonderful knowing that I could borrow a curling iron anytime since I forgot to pack one. The views are immaculate and details are well thought out in every corner of the room. Even the reception area had complimentary snacks and beverages (including wine and cheese). Very happy with my stay here and I recommend Sky...
